Man, I love your videos, some of the best hema videos on youtube. But holy cow you need to get your vocals up in the mix. I had to max my ipads volume just to barely hear you. The commercial that popped up about blew my ear drums out it was so much louder. But seriously, thank you for what you do, no hema clubs anywhere near me so videos like yours are greatly appreciated.

I appreciate that! And yeah, sound has been an issue for a while now - I hopefully found the fix now.

@@SchildwachePotsdam I’m a musician, not claiming to be any kind of expert because I’m not. But I do know a bit about audio, be glad to try and help if you need.

Absolutely great videos! These have been helping me so much to learn bolognese swordmanship. With Angelo's variant of reverso tondo, would that fail to parry your opponent's reverso tondo because they are parallel. Just one slightly lower. I've experimented with reverso ridopio as well, and sometimes it seems like the opponents reverso Squalibro sneaks through or slides off into a thrust to my chest. Curious if you've encountered this

The riverso ridoppio as a parry is present in dall'Agocchie as well. My take is, that they gave you their favourite variation, but you'll need to adapt it according to the opponent. Still, they all rely on good body mechanics and form. :)

P.S.: I found the cause of the bad audio (this time software-wise during recording...) So there is hope 🙈💩

Good stuff! Not too different than fencing from dente di zenghiaro in Fiore, either.

One of my favourite techniques to parry with the longsword as well :)

Good info. You never know when you'll get challenged at a duel by some rando on the street. That's why you should always be packing a sidesword 😂

well in fencing zis named semi-circular defence, or demi-circle, and it not need a huuuuge "body mechanichs" and can be continued not with only one clumsy stab, but a variety of attacks, also can be done on both sides This one shows thou that what modern three-month student learns as basic, was a "secret technique" for so called treatises.
