Glad it was useful! I got great service from the engine machinist, and a few unprompted tips as a bonus.

Another great video - I'm really enjoying them. I would love a Herald or Vitesse convertible as a future project

Thanks Henry, it’d be easy for you after that TR7! They’re less complicated and the parts availability is better. But the body alignment is a bit of a pain point…

Another very good video clearing discussing the jobs as you complete your rebuild. I did do most of this some twenty years ago on my Daughters 13/60 convertible, it now needs an engine rebuild, my winter job!!! Happy New Year Bob

If you’re anywhere near the North East, AMAC in Northallerton have done a fantastic job on the machining work for me, so I’d definitely recommend them if you end up needing a rebore or similar.

I dont want to sound like an anorak but are they the correct back interior panels? I thought that they had arm rests in a cut out.

You’ll be thinking of the saloon versions. Those sit right against the inner wing and the cubby box or whatever it is protrudes into the otherwise dead space in the body. For the convertible the hood well takes away a fair bit of the rear seat space, and the rear trims have to be flat as the hood takes up all the room behind them when folded.
