Your house - No - Your HOME is starting to look amazing Lucie... all that hard work is finally paying off. This video brought me tears - to remember how me and my husband renovated our 1st rental home which was not so great when we bought it, we both were just like you guys. so in love and loved doing the stuff to make our home beautiful, but now we are about to get divorced. i still love him but we know and we both have come to a point which we think our lives would be better seperately than together. I cried watching this video it reminded me a lot of things which i loved about that time of my life... but - that's what life is isn't it. sorry I'm ranting about my sorry relationship out here, but I got a little emotional watching this... Oh trust me Lucie even us srilankans hate how buses are on the roads! So dangerous and reckless 😩 and there are always some kinds of terrible accidents! My family always tell me how there’s like a competition between the government buses (the red ones) and the private buses (the white ones) so that is a big reason why they keep on honking or go fast like everybody else has to move out when they pass or overpass other cars in a very dangerous way by even invading other lanes! 😅😅 Unfortunately this is another thing that Sri Lanka has to change! In Sri Lanka buses are like flying bazooka but bigger. The drivers love driving these metal heavy weight weapons. As a former English bus driver ,I love being a passenger in Sri Lanka buses but for pedestrians they are an injury or fatality waiting to happen.

100%! Bus drivers in SriLanka disregard everyone else on the road! The worst case scenario is when 2 buses that follow the same route are close to each other, they start competing to see who can get to the stands faster to get more customers! And that’s when all hell breaks loose!

I travelled in Sri Lanka in 2000 and enjoyed every moment. I stayed in Colombo with my friend’s family and then went to Negombo, Kandy, Haskala, Nuwara Eliya, Hambantota, Matara, Galle, Bentota. Everywhere I went they noted my name Susanta and mentioned it is Sri Lankan name. I am aBengali that ‘s why the similarity.
