Your Snow Princess is lovely. I’ve had a mannequin tree the past two years but I put her in a short dress. I only used green garland woven up and down to create a skirt. I used a silky gray piece of material to create the top of her dress and tied a silver woven wired ribbon around her waist to create a belt. I added silver magnolia leaves and red berries to decorate her skirt. I think I’ll add a silver beaded garland this year. You gave me the idea of using the garland because of the pearl beads you used for garland. You’ve inspired me to make some changes to make my mannequin tree more glamorous.

Oh Deena, you have outdone yourself this time. I have never in my life seen anything so magical. That is so perfect for a master bedroom. I always say that I am not creative but I am pretty good at copying what somebody else does but on this I could never come close to repeating. So I will just enjoy yours. I would never ever even had such an idea. You are so creative and so talented. I always see the love of Jesus shining through you but I can also see a mischievous little twinkle in your eye that makes you be so fun. I am all decorated over here and happy with the results. I am a neutral type of girl like you but Christmas is the time I do bring in the deep red color and lots of gold. In my bedroom I put a tree this year and that has nothing but lights and pinecones on it. I’m slowly buying groceries for our family get together. I have a list that I get out every year and just buy the same things. I just start buying each week at 1 November just leaving The things that have to be bought at the last minute like produce. Melissa and Brian will be staying a few days from Dallas and while they’re here I’ll ask Rebecca and her family to come do all their meals with us. So there is lots of preparation.I will start doing some cooking next week and put in the freezer. Especially some things I need to take to church and get together‘s. I’m so thrilled to be feeling good this Christmas. Last Christmas was horrible and I felt so bad. God is so good. but I am grieving along with two dear friends whose sons both have brain cancer and don’t have long to live. Yes ma’am, I am praying for you. It is a privilege to pray for someone as precious as you. Love in Christ.

Oh, you have definitely caught on to "my other side." Lol. I grew up with three older brothers and a momma and daddy that had spunk. So crazy sarcasm was our way for sure, and I loved it. I am sure your deep reds look magical this time of year. I am so glad you are feel so much better and are ready to be back to your old self of entertaining. I am sure your girls are over the moon. I am so sorry to hear about your friends loss. My group of close friends has experienced loss this past year too and it is so hard to watch others go through the pain you know all too well. Exquisite! I do a dress form at Christmas in my bedroom using live greenery for the skirt. Your video made me decide to do her in my living room. I will be using jewel tones and lots of vintage jewelry I have collected to dress mine.
