It's hard to believe that the 10th Annual, Nitto JK-Experience presented by KMC Wheels is finally here! In this video, you'll get to see some of the maintenance we had to do as well as some of the new goodies we installed on Moby, our 2007 Jeep Wrangler JK, to get him ready for this epic event. And, by popular demand, we'll take you for a walk around this whale of a Jeep to see all the the things that make him what he is today. As an added bonus, you'll even get a glimpse of the gear we typically load him up with, anytime we hit the trail. We hope you enjoy.
Come visit us at: WAYALIFE.com

So much awesome covered in 10 minutes of video. I remember the first time I got to see Moby up close and then again right before you guys took him down to Motech last year. Great to see him all freshened up and better than ever. Side note: the video editing just keeps getting better and better... Only thing that surpassed Cindy behind the camera is Cindy behind the wheel of Moby.

These keeps always crack me up. Don’t get me wrong they are freaking awesome and I want one just like this one. But it’s like “ hey, here’s my jeep. The only thing jeep about it is the frame and most of the body.” Lol. But this thing looks like pure fun to own.

Yeah! We have Moby getting some love. This has been a JL/JT channel for sooo long, a while back, I was even wondering if you still had Moby. Good to see the JK experience is still around and you're able to keep to your channels roots. (Still love your new and vintage Jeeps too.)
@wayalife

Thank you. It gets harder to keep producing content for a vehicle that's no longer made but we love Moby will always keep making them anyway :)

@@wayalife Hmmm, interesting way to put it. There is a lot of life left in jeeps that are no longer made. Let me ask you then... is this a channel about new products you can put on a vehicle (sales) or about your love of and adventures in offroading? I know much of your income/monetization on this channel comes from product endorsements, reviews and installation DIY's, but I have to ask, was that what you wanted when you first started all this? Though I love your work in the shop, I personally love it more when you are on the trail doing what these Jeeps are made for... adventure. Is going out on the JK experience any less fun now that there is less money to be made from it, because JK's are out of production? I don't think so. Moby was built for fun and it does exactly that... in spades! Need content? Show us that fun! Because at the end of the day, that's really why we are here. For the fun.
@wayalife
@wayalife 3 жыл бұрын
LOL - I think you've mistaken our videos for being the total sum of our lives. Just because we don't make videos of everything we do doesn't mean that we don't have fun with ALL 8 of our Jeeps. Perhaps you should spend more time having fun with your Jeep instead of just relying on watching videos of other people having fun with theirs :)

One question tho , i would worry about one thing on the horizontal mounted coil overs in the back that has the “X” cross bar for protection , the hoses kinda worry me a little like maybe some plating mounted on the “X” bar would stop a rock from poking up in between and busting one of the fittings off the shocks,, just a personal opinion or thought i had ..but as always thanks for another great video..

What width axles are you running front and rear? Those look like the 68.5". Any rubbing with the ATX ChamberII (my same wheel).

So, fully loaded and pushing almost 7000 lbs and on 40's at 80-85 mph, we've been averaging about 12-13 mpg.

How does it compare to your evo sport cage?
@wayalife
@wayalife 3 жыл бұрын
On an old 07-10 like this Jeep, I think it's fine. On a newer 11-18, I like the EVO cage better as it doesn't cut out visibility the way the Rock Hard does.

Same way that pretty much every Jeep that served in WWII, a GPW was made by Ford. Or, how the engine in my 1969 Jeepster Commando has a Buick V6 under the hood from the factory. :)
