Only women used to fast before as the men used to go and fight in wars, Thats why they would fast for their safety, health and long life

The story is not true. One has to go to original and authentic Hindu texts to understand the logic behind each and every ritual and festival we celebrate in Hinduism. The definitions and actually meanings of many of them have been changed over the years. And this generation chooses to just believe in rumours, man-made stories, and conclude most of these festivals as sign of patriarchy. In contrast to this, Hinduism only contains scientific logic and reason behind each and every thing. It's just that people are too lazy to find out.

even though we don't celebrate this lovely festive I know the story is different it has nothing to do with Crocodiles yes it was about the intense love that the women hold for her husband, her husband was in danger the Karwas brothers went to rescue so Karwa decided to fast for his well being and won't eat or drink anything till her beloved husband returns home safely she didn't eat entire day and kept praying when the moons came out she looked over and saw her husband returned home safely this is what i heard from my lovely Punjabi Aunty Neighbor

@@jaihind3608 I would suggest you to see KZbin videos for better understanding. And one thing karwa chauth was celebrated in just punjab region. Different states of india have similar festival. Odisha has savitri brat, UP bihar have teej. I am sure your state will also have a function similar to karwa chauth ❤
@jaihind360823 күн бұрын
@@haryanachora12thank you sure i will. Teej is celebrated in Rajasthan isn't it. Yes we do have kind of a similar festival here in Andhra and Karnataka like var mahalakshmi vrat
@haryanachora1223 күн бұрын
@@jaihind3608 teej and karwa chauth have been absorbed by almost every north Indian community. I am haryanvi and my wife is odia so we celebrate karwa chauth teej and savitri brat. My ex gf was from tamil nadu. She used to tell me a similar festival that ladies of tamil nadu used to keep for long life of their husbands. I can't remember the name.

Main 13 saal ki umar se cooking kar raha hu aur mujhe ye kaam bohot pasand hai. Maine decide kar liya hai ki mujhe Chef hi banna hai, chahe kuch bhi ho. Lekin mere parents kehte hai ki bawarchi ban ke kuch nahi hoga, wo chahte the main bhi engineering karu, jaise mere bade bhai. Likes aur views kam aate hai, par mujhe apni skill dikhana hai kyunki cooking mere liye sabse zyada zaruri hai. Wsj
