GETTING RID OF MY CLOTHING - Organizing my closet

Hi guys! Today I brought you along to reorganize, clean, and get rid of tons of clothing in my closet! Hope you guys enjoyed this video and the mess didn't stress you out too much! Once it was done I felt sooo much better getting rid of things I don't wear or need! Always donate, recycle or sell your old clothing so they don't end up in landfills!

I'm doing a closet purge myself actually! I could not relate more when you said that you want to feel confident and love every piece in your closet. As a thrifter, I feel like sometimes I settle because of the low price when in reality we should adore every thing we buy. Great video!!

It also helps putting your favorite clothes on your favorite hangers & using that as a way of filtering clothes that you really love.

So I just moved from ATL to El Paso. To organize my clothes and make it easier to get rid of, i invited my best friend who has similar taste to help. She went shopping in my closet and helped me organize!! It was amazing and sweet.

I think that's completely fine! I'd still be wearing some of my old clothes too, but I gained weight so a lot of it is just sitting there collecting dust lol

You should try all hangers be the felted...it will give you more room in your closet.

hey jenny, it's so cool that you are purging ! but just remember don't be too harsh and quick on yourself . I can advice u to put away in your closet like in a big bag, out of sight, all the pieces you're not sure about. If you happen to go to the bag in the 2 following weeks or 3 months (as you wish, it can be a longer or shorter time)rummaging through to wear the piece, it means you probably should keep it :)

Jenny! Good on you, doing that big of a purge is HARD! I find that after a large purge I go back like a month later and there's a bunch of stuff I'm like 'why did I keep this?'. It's easier when it's not so overwhelming. I used to have a closet like yours, literally so much thrifted goodness, and have been working it down over the past few years. It's always a work in progress.

as a tip!!! you should never hang up your sweaters, especially if they're heavy.. cuz they stretch that way ! i would always recommend folding your knitted sweaters and placing them on a shelf so they maintain their shape. btw love ur vids ;-)
