For Starlings in the UK, because Starlings are now a protected species, the use of Bio - Acoustics & a male Harris is usually pretty effective. Just Bio - Acoustics on its own will work, the Harris is the icing on the cake. Roost shooting pigeons worked well but you had to keep at it.
