Getting serious with our F56 Mini GP3 - Bilstein Clubsport Suspension + Setup + 6Sixty Forged Wheels

We teased this in our last video on the MSS spring kit on our GP3, and that our next step was to kick things up a notch with a set of Bilstein B16 Clubsport coilovers, giving the GP3 the true performance suspension it deserves.
But fully adjustable suspension isn't just about fitting and driving, it requires setting up to get the most out of it. So we took the car to Centre Gravity, a well renowned suspension setup specialist who dialled the car in for road and track use.
To accompany all this we took the opportunity to fit the new 6Sixty Union wheels, designed specifically for the F56 Mini, and in the same specs as the standard GP3 wheel, even matching the weight which was impressively light for an OE wheel.

...why do you need her permission? Sure, having her buy in is nice (happy wife, happy life), but sometimes you just need to just go in, modify and see if she notices the difference. Or, tell her the parts were bad and needed to be replaced (that's what I do). Sell the safety of better handling/car control. Set the dampers to soft/softer and be happy. Lighter wheels help w/fuel economy and feel (confort). Bending the truth is not lying.

I would lift the rear up by around10mm and add 1-2 clicks on the rebound - shoul help with rear compliancy

ME guata esta suspension por ser regulable y poder usarla para la calle y el circuito , el mini corre mucho pero en los tramos de rally es muy complicado ir rapido con las suspension origuinal no se disfruta , espero que con esta valla mejor y subirlo 10mm de delante y 15 en la trasera , pra carretera rotas y muy malas , gran trabajo por estas pruebas y a si poder disfrutar del mini .

Two stars GP and GR. I guess the GP is more fun and more at home on track and the 100 per cent Gazoo Racing is much better on roads. So you have two amazing weapons for both situations. In my personal opinion I choose this two cars over any other two because at the end Im looking for a mix of driving expirience and total price and costs mantenences. The kilograms makes here the diferences. I feel much more confidence on the 4 cil and 2 liter displa.and front wheel drive for hard tack seasons in terms of durability. I heard GP is100 kg lighter than a honda type r, this is so good for me despiste honda is faster, as said expiriences rather than crono. Sorry my English. Congrats Evolve Aut.

These are as far as you can go out of the arch. The GP3 arches add no clearance at all, they sit on the outside of the bodywork so it’s impossible to get a flush look with them :(

Liking the wheels Imran. They really suit the car. However, you really looked to be still bouncing around in the drivers seat going down those country lanes as you were with stock suspension. 🤔 But I'm sure only the driver will be able to tell the real difference. It looks a quality but expensive kit.
