Writing things speak helped me a lot. You can always see your progress but when you look back you can see in black and white how much better you have become. I had to stop after a while though as I became a bit too concerned about the numbers. Now I don't bother counting and just continue until I physically cannot move the weight anymore. Great video.

Wow Gabe this is what I’ve been waiting, my entire working out existence has been at shredding mistake. And now that you’ve given me the secret I will apply it every day and I will send you the before and after.
@jordanlifts29966 жыл бұрын
I always seem to get stronger in my cut and just spin my when bulking, I’ve come to the conclusion it’s because i train harder when cutting to prevent muscle loss, but then get stuck “going through the motions” when bulking..... next bulk will be different! Swole in 19 !!!!!
@GabrielSeyOfficial6 жыл бұрын
I hear that. Again, mindset. Just on the other side of the spectrum. Mindset plays a HUGE part in this game.
@ted38466 жыл бұрын
Point 6. A long building phase should become before shredding/cutting. Great vid. Thanks.
@Motivasean6 жыл бұрын
Bruh you are hilarious! I am going to use this advice. Great vid as usual. I like what you said about the shred mindset I honestly think I have a phobia of losing strength.
@GabrielSeyOfficial6 жыл бұрын
Thanks man. This whole game is majority about mindset.
@tobiallich32586 жыл бұрын
Pretty much experienced it exactly that way. I read an Article about "species-appropriate feeding of humans" and they asked, why the hell loose tons of weight and strength just to get in kind of a better shape? So I tried it. Lost maybe 3-4 pounds in a few months, got stonger and alot better in my Calisthenics Routines. Thumbs up from Germany, Gabe!

Changed my view on the weight scale! I knew most of the tips, but the ones on the shred mindset and the paused set were quite helpful and all new to me!
@ajesedm6 жыл бұрын
Hello, been doing all of this tips (learned from other sources) but now I listen to your version and GOD it makes so much sense, I was trying to shred down with a fuck load of hiit cardio (4 sessions a week) , 5 days at the gym, relatively heavy, and NOPE I looked like shit hahahah, decided to remove the cardio, eat more, and do a 3 day full body HEAVY split, and OMG it makes a difference, starting to see my upper abs after just 3 weeks, and feeling a lot less cranky and hungry. And also, worth mentioning , I’m 4 kilos heavier , but somehow, looking leaner and better ... I am just like WTF

Lol, I am currently doing everything you said don’t do! 5-9 (241). M-W-F 800 cals fasted in the am with another 300 in the pm. Weight training Monday through Sunday along with cardio in the afternoons at 500 cal Tuesdays/Thursdays/Saturdays and Sundays. One these days (sometimes 1.5) I usually take off (depending on work). How much weight have I lost... gain 2 lbs... lol, FML! My diet, I’m still tweaking, but I promise you if I stopped eating all together I’m the only human on the planet that would still gain weight just so my body could spite my efforts!! Great vid!

The comedy and information in all of your vids are on point. The one main thing i have learnt from you is how simple things really are. Everyone makes losing weight sound so incredibly hard (I know it can be for some people) and over complicated but the "maths" behind losing wait couldnt be more simple. I go by Athlean-X's rule too, "diets" are no where near as good as just cleaning up your overall eating habits and nutrition and "diets" always make you feel like you are limiting yourself mentally. Anyway, great vid mate 😂 enjoy the bank holiday weekend ! 💪

Gabriel WE NEED AN ULTIMATE ROUTINE series 💪💪❤
@gingercore696 жыл бұрын
Im no bodybuilder, im a fighter, but i guess you would hate my routine x'D Lets see who guess my fighting style by my weight lifting routine... Warm up going to the gym while kicking over my head in different directions and angles(about 1km) 10 minutes bike in there... If its day 1, i do 3 sets of 30 crunches, followed by calf rises, then over head press, then lat pull downs, and finnish with 1 hour of bicycle balls to the wall... Day 2 is the same up until the abs... I do hanging leg raises, seated calf rises, bench press and rows... End with 1 hour bike balls to the wall... Day 3starts the same, but i do those "russian twists" or however its called then use the machine that is used to squeez with the thighs and then to "spread the legs" followed by 1 hour of bicycle balls to the wall... Those i do repeating from monday to friday... Saturday i go to the beach kicking like i usually go to the gym... But with friends... Its about 2km... There we do some acrobatics, then we practice technique and then we spar... Btw, its just for 2 months, when i finnish this nightmare i will start training normal again, but i have to prepare for an event, thats why i need to so this weird training... My normal training is caliesthenics at home + weighted squats, hip thrusts, do some deadlifts, bench press, overhead press and rows... And lots of overcoming isometrics with punches and kicks in different % of extention...

Yo, I mostly put this information to practice but I've noticed for myself as I cut food (carbs) slowly each week and slowly increase cardio, my sweet spot macros are 215p 125c 50f with 45-60 mins cardio 4x/week. I've gotten down to 13%bf (I think), do you think that's ok or it's too drastic? I'm around 172lbs at 5'5"
@levitastic6 жыл бұрын
My maintenance should be around 2300 so I went with 2000 kcal for the cut, its been slow but steady, now after 5 weeks I'm not losing weight anymore though, so I'll add some cardio, which I had not before, and see what happens, meanwhile I havent lost strength and seem to be getting .. somewhat.. stronger XD

Damm the eating tiny miniscule portions and doing hiit cardio everrdayyy was me 6 months ago😭 ive been reverse dieting since then up to maintenance calories and ive built so much strength in the gym im lifting more then double before i couldnt even do dumbell bench presses before and now i can dumbell press 24kg and now i can see my QUAAADS and my booty aint flat no more😂 its crazy what your body can do when you actually feed it properly and stop doing excessive cardio, women need to be taught on how to lift weights and eat more often great video!

Sorry, little bit late to the party....Awesome vid, i recently changed jobs and my NEAT has dropped dramatically, so i've had to drop calories quite a bit to compensate, which has meant my strength has taken a hit, but will be revisiting this for my next cut....

Most importantly...stick to the cut diet for months not weeks. Modify it along the way if you hit a plateau but it takes months to get there. Something that took me decades to realize. It’s a change of lifestyle, not a few weeks crash diet.
@itsjulliancook29006 жыл бұрын
Completely agree on decreasing calories in slowly and lifting heavy. But i must ask, how do you feel about weighted cardio? for example, when i have an active rest day, i put on a weighted vest ( or a backpack if the vest is in use) and i got for an hour long walk/jog. i find it helps my endurance and overall well being.
