Instead of poking a hole in the trash bag when we moved we would put the opening of the trash bag around the hangers and tied the string around the hangers so once we moved we could save and reuse the trash bags.

Just a heads up, it’s WAY easier to pack clothes and save the trash bags if you get the bags with ties, leave hanging and put into the trash bag and tie the handles of the bag around the hangers. Keeps everything together and super easy! When you get to the new house, untie, lay flat and refold to use for trash later!

the stickers are such a great idea! I would also put numbers on them, like living room 1, living room 2, etc. I think that would help keep track how many boxes you packed for each room. happy moving and congrats on the house again!! :)

Pack a suitcase for each of you for the last minute things, just so you don’t go crazy the first day with everything you would take on a trip. So you don’t have to start opening boxes the first day when everyone is so tired.

Allie put some apple cider vinegar n dish detergent in a little glass bowl n set on counter. The flies are attracted to this mixture m won’t be able to fly away. It works. A lot of work but just think, God willing, it’s your last move for years n years!!! Good time to get rid of so much stuff you don’t use or need. Take time to rest n take care of yourself.
