Would be a nice class to add im trying to start a fpv on road race class. The only issue I see is the courses are flat and there's no raceline so it's kind of hard to distinguish when the turn is coming up if the tracks were built more to scale with smooth slopes and turns maybe copy a track like lime rock or Laguna Seca it would be more fun the evolution of RC cars have advanced but the tracks still remain the same. I'll ask when I see suspension tuning for these flat tracks you ain't have to do much for your car to hook, carpet racing is nice but unrealistic so the cars can fly around turns easily with their foam wheels. I have seen a few tracks used by IFMAR that looked great but still flat.

I would like to see it 50's 60's Gasser high front straight axle froma 1/14th Tamiya truck along with leaf springs, solid rear axle froma crawler plus wheelie bar, open arches by radiusing them so you can have a couple of mil tyre sticking out and a real 50's paint job very intricate using silk and net curtains to spray through in contrasting colour's Have a look at the Gassers nations uploads.

I would paint it a bright color, it makes it easy to see. Now lets think about this #1 runtime 5 to 20 sec a run. #2 race it down the track 15 to 20 times ( now the total time driving the R/C car is minimum of 1min 15 sec to a maximum 6min 36 sec ) The closest place for me to race or rock crawling is 60 miles to 150 miles one way ( 1hour to 3 hours plus drive time). Both racing and rock crawling I get to drive the R/C car or truck for 45min to 2 hour. So Drag racing has to little play time for the time or money that I put into R/C cars or trucks.
