Yes, BballJo. Thanks for revisiting this title. I just started playing this again and couldn't stop playing it. It's a hidden gem of a game. It scratches all my itches for city building/logistics/train type gaming. The only other game that is even close for me is the Workers and Resources: Soviet Republic game. I look forward to many more episodes of Sweet Transit. I gained a great deal of understanding from your videos with these games. Keep up the great work/gaming/tutorials!

Thanks for your video! I was a bit scared because the Steam reviews are medicore - but this looks fun so far and I will buy it right now

20:00 HSV stands for Hue Saturation and Value so Value controls getting tints (lightness / adds white) or shades (darkness / adds black)

Nice to see you playing this (again)!. I use th Europe map-gen all the time. Feels cool to start building near where I live @05:50 they also start to produce with less than 20 people. But slower :-)

Having to deliver people to and from a work place really is unique. As much as I love Workers and Resources, I wondered why it doesn't have that function.

Thank you very much for revisiting this title. I have been holding off buying this from what I had read in recent reviews. Looks like it is definitely time to revisit this game and get it.

It's on 40% sale right now (48 hours to go), so now's your chance.

Thanks for the heads up! I just bought it and installing now. 😁

The main issue of this game is that it's advertised as a train tycoon, while it really is a citybuilder with big focus on train logistics and resource management instead. So some people come into it with wrong expectations and bounce off.

Its super cheap on some third party websites. Got it under 10 dollars❤
@weltraumvogel28 ай бұрын
@@AndreikVlogs you do know that most of those third party websites sell stolen keys. They often even hurt the publisher. There was a campaign from indie devs a while ago: "Rather pirate our games, but don't buy from key-resellers"

lol what madness is this??? The first village hall you built had the name of Alytus which is the town in Lithuania that I was born in XD I love this!

I appreciate the playthrough. You inspired me to give it another go. The progression system sucks for a pro returning from early access. Took me a while to realize the UI was completely overhauled, just thought the build icons were hiding off screen. In early access, could build sawmills and coal mines and trains, as well as town at the start. I kept warehouse in a different part of the map and connected everything by train. Hell of a learning curve that way, but impossible to do now, at the start anyways. The forced progression is forces me to break the map now, and rebuild later. Rather than allowing the previous freedom to focus on efficiency from the start. I also prefer the old UI, new seems more tedious. Done bitching, thanks again.

The need to bring people home is awesome. I'd love to have this in WR:SR too :-)

Some sort of mode in workers where they don't dissappear but had some other mechanic would be great
@AndreikVlogs8 ай бұрын
You should be able to put your first train line in front of the building with the platform left and right of the main building. This way you can expand an extra train platform if you go for max amount of lines in a particular station

the mechanic of this game combined of Anno/Banished and openttd, but the graphics almost looks like factorio
@damgam988 ай бұрын
I really hope this excitement doesn't wear off when more stuff gets introduced and you face the challenge of "Theres always not enough of something" Anno games are known of. Don't build too big too fast or you might end up in a death spiral. Though i must say death spirals are way more recoverable now than they used to be in early versions.

@bballjo not sure if you know but if you build stations like that you double the load/unload speed platform rail platform so as long as a rail has a platform on each side enjoy 50% boost in loading/unloading speed.

Interesting. At this point I'm really feeling like I'm missing 60% of the game, because it's sitting in funky game mechanics that are intuitive enough, but not normal or explained anywhere...

Glad you made this vid, its awesome, learning a lot. Question on Courier Shack with a problem with 'no storage.' Output storage pointing to Warehouse and Input is the Station. Tried Market as Output storage but same thing. What am I missing?

I find it funny that your "colony" has the same name as my hometown (yes, I live in Alytus)
