I’ve kayaked on lakes for many years but just recently started kayaking white water at 41 years old and ever since I got a little taste it’s all I think about. It’s consuming me. Calling me back to the river. It’s almost the weekend and guess what. Kayak time. I used to hike on my weekends but there’s a new hobby in town….

I’ve always wanted to get into it and growing up in Idaho on the payette river would have been the perfect opportunity but I didn’t due to lack of funds when I was growing up. Fast forward to now I’m in Acworth Georgia and I have a few fishing kayaks but never got into whitewater kayaking. Well actually I kinda have one, the Jackson kayak Coosa X can handle some whitewater but probably not with me in it.
