I don't know if this is a version difference, but in okd 4.5 I had and error with "route: true". I resolved it with: spec: server: route: enabled: true The rest of the config worked well. Thanks for the great demo!

for those like myself that were unable to connect through --sso, one can use the option --core so you can connect using a session with Openshift argocd login --core
