I’m a Thanatos guy, I’ve been Gallente (mostly) from the beginning so it’s traditional. I also like the ehp on the fighters seeing how easy they are to hit. Oh, and I like the look of it. Big, lumpy and bumpy just the way I like em, read into that what you will

I love the Pheonix. I love how the Caldari ships look, and the Phoenix is no exception. And while it won't hit any non-capital ships, it by far has the highest dps, especially in capital-vs-capital combat. I like the Minmitar dreadnought (can't remember the name) a lot as well though, and it felt really good against the cruisers in the capital ship test event.

I like the Thanatos the most. It just looks like a huge vessel and the flat but large design of it makes it appear largen than the other ones I think. Also the Neonrain looks suuuuper nice on it, like a catwalk with moving heads :D

The Nidhoggur! Not only is it a crazy name for a ship, it's also the Minmatar carrier I want to see in large scale Fleet engagements! I doubt I'll ever be able to fly one, but I'd take any opportunity I can get to fly support for it!

Chimera - I was a caldari pilot in EO, and there's just something I love about the way it looks. It's massive, but still has an elegance to it. I like the bonuses on the Nidhoggur better, but ... if I only ever get to fly one of the suckers, gotta stick with the Chimera!

I like the Nidhoggur! Im already planning on building one, and i will be camping in your space to collect minmatar wrecks, lol. I want the Nidhoggur just for the velocity bonus on drones. Its the best bonus IMO. If you find yourself desperately tanking in a carrier, youre already gone.

Phoenix, for me it has the sturdier appearance of all capitals, plus it's actual tank , dps and size just make it even more cooler in my opinion. Maybe it won't hit anything smaller than capitals, but the damage with torpedos is going to clean a big amount of carriers if not careful enough

Naglfar, it was the first one I flew when they released the Capital test and I destroyed everyone else the first try. It also is unique in its vertical design.

Chimera- looks cool, plus its a shield bonus on this expensive of a ship would want as much shield tank as possible

Chimera-for the simple fact that I start the game as caldari and I love shield and missles. I just imagine the little fighters shooting small missiles that their targets.

Naglfar, from flying it in the capital test, it is somewhat lacking in firepower, but the fact that it sips capacitor keeps it alive much longer than the amar dreadnought

I like the Phoenix the most, I know it did not do so well in the test but it by far looks the coolest. If earth was to become a spacefaring race tomorrow I can imagine that it is one that we would make and it has a cool name!

Despite rumours that DEV came up with its name after digesting unholy quantities of icelandic moonshine (the company HQ were near empty for a week), i’d go for the Nidhoggur in a heart beat! That thing looks so badass it makes Amarr babies spawn prematurely in all adjacent galaxies!

My favorite list of Carriers :) 1st : Nidhoggur This one is battling Ram containing dexterity with flight velocity! Also this broad-sword like looking ship hull is also amazing. 2nd : Chimera This bad-ass contains better explosion velocity so can quickly shot down enemy small ships! Not to mention that I do love bonus shield resist :)

I definitely want the Nidhoggur. The speed boost to the light fighters seems beastly considering the best way to get at them is frigates. I am curious to see rigging for increased fighter velocity makes them even harder to hit. My corp has been using intys and fast faction frigates to defang carriers.

I really love the REVELATION it is a heavy armour tank .And what I do like most is the Annihilating force of the revelation laser though it has it down side of Cap stability but dam it cool looking furry monster 💀💀💀

My favourite has to be the Naglfar. A ship made of finger and toenails of the dead, ferrying monsters to do battle with the gods during Ragnarök? Hell yeah that's a dreadnought, alright!

Nidhoggur - I like it, because it's a capital ships that have the impressive bonus, a speed and damage bonus to light fighters. So, basically it can destroy anything other than capital ships.

I am true to the ways of the Minmatar Republic so obviously the nidhoggur is my dream boat. As I think you have said previously in other videos lore is what makes the game awesome. Totally agree and I have stayed true to the ways of the minmatar from the start. Cannons and drone. The unique structure of the nidhoggur fits well with minmatar as well, can’t wait to fly one.

The Naglfar is my favorite because of vertical supremacy. Unfortunately you can only see half the ship when docked, though you can shoot rats with strikes from outside their 250km aggro range, which is funny.

My favorite is the Archon. I will not be flying it but I think it’s the coolest looking one. Why? It looks like it has a flight deck on the top of the ship almost like a real life carrier.

For me it's the Thanatos, I wanted something that great for PvE in special T10 anoms but also that could stand up to PvP content and system defense. Time will tell if I've made the right choice. Sadly it doesn't seem a popular one at the moment

I'd say Moros, it might work pretty well in pve in pair with Vindicator's webs, it have good bonuses and railguns have best tracking speed among all other capital weapons

IF I may not having any specific Capital Ship in mind but just Carriers. Why? Coz they remind me of StarCraft/StarCraft2 Protoss ships which I loved the most, as I remember times when playing SC in local network with my friends and them hearing "Carrier Has Arrived" coming out from my speakers (yes, we didn't have headphones at the time) was making them almost giving up the game :). And the logic was similar. They could attack out of range, but they could loose fighter which then have to be replaced/rebuilt. W/O fighters they became useless...

I'm looking forward to one day having both a Nidhoggur and a Chimera but for two different reasons. The Nidhoggur would probably be better for PvE purposes with the additional fighter velocity covering the extreme ranges at which carriers can fight thus increasing the application of damage and limiting drones primary drawback. Being a shield ship is rough on the cap but hopefully never fly it alone so should have cap support if self-heals are needed. Chimera, on the other hand, would be a better PvP boat because the fighters apply damage better across both types of fighters and has a shield resistance bonus so logicane support is more efficient. I dont really get the bonus for fighter optimal range and fighter EHP is tempting for PvP but I think application of damage is probably better than the fighters themselves being tankier.

The nidhoogur is by far the coolest looking one! It looks like the big brother to my drake. I also think it's one of the carriers hat looks like a real carrier. It has a huge bay underneath for the fighters. Then let's talk fit and finish.. its perfect it's just enough scrap metal to make it scary!

For me it has to be the Chimera. I'm Caldari/shield through and through, Caracal, Drake, Raven, yep Chimera for me for sure. One day I'll get into one but not anytime soon, too many other things to get done first, you're never done with things in Eve lol. Also I think we'd all love that much Plex 🤣🤣

Definitely the REVELATION, for 3 reasons. 1. It's an Amarr ship. 2. It's a Laser & Armor ship and 3. It just looks cool. :-)

Chimera- Starting out shields are much better until you get skills into armor repair which take alot of time and SP investment. So with the 4% bonuses to resistance per level it's an amazing starting carrier. Also carrier do much better with extenders due to not having a booster buff like dreads, and shield extenders give less passive take but more active tank than armor plates. So can soak up a ton of damage for "free"

My favorite capital you ask? Thanatos, easiely. Awesome design, great dps, arguably best carrier for PvP. Second would probably be Revelation or Naglfar, they are awesome. I'd probably never fly them becouse they aren't really good for anything except the occasional citadel fight or rally points, but they are cool for sure

Nighoggur - you can never beat speed holes and rust. Ive played Minmatar going back to when I first started playing EO back in 2008. I wish Echoes has more lore (that effected the game) and there was some benefit to the faction/race of your character. Either way its all minmatar all the time.

Chimera: I have already invested 10bill and 15bill more to go. Why Chimera? Its tanky compared to other carriers as well it has explosion bonus as well. Its definitely a better carrier in terms of pvp as its tannky and explo bonus. And in terms of pve also due to explo bonus, it can clear anoms quickly. What I will further experiment is that due to explo bonus, I believe even light fighters(not inferior) can clear smalls ships. If it can do that there wont be a dps drop by equipping one inferior squad along with 2 light squads ;)

So these are the next evolution in drone boats. 🤔 And in the 'command' variant, so it loses personal offense to gain command abilities. Pretty cool in theory. Like you, I'm still not sure what legitimate use these can be put to as the game plays right now. Also, would a carrier or a dreadnought be considered the flagship of a fleet? Also: I need that Fighter Fire Control on my Tristan! Maybe a Mk.5 module will fit? 😉 I think the special carrier mode is pointless. Increased lock speed for a big ship is unnecessary when we still don't have a complete E-War system in the game. Looking at the fighter stats, such as velocity, orbital speed, explosion radius/velocity, or tracking speed - these drone boats are meant to target other capitals, maybe a battleship. Those big ships have big signature radii, therefore you don't need a fast lock-on. Especially not with an 8 maximum lock-on limit. Just goes back to the point of 'we don't need capitals in the game right now.'

The Chimera is my favourite carrier because of that good tank that can reach up to 90% resitances all over the board. Atm its just not worth it to fly such a thing, because they have no use currently other than a bit of pvp... Not even dreads are worth it when they dont have a whole fleet around them....
