I usually run a Prophecy and a VNI, but I bought one of these last night for scouting and doing anomalies in solo or fleet. I ended up doing one drone damage/activation/range rig, as well as a polycarbon/smc/dynamic fuel for the other rigs. Without repping, just the mwd, the cap is stable at about half. Two medium missiles gets me about 33 missile range with skills, drone dps is 340 with no amps. I have a nos, web, and warp disruptor (one of which will likely be a weapon disruptor later), and a covops cloak, ds mwd, ds medium armor rep, and a dcu. The dcu can be switched with a plate depending on how you wanna play. I like it a lot better than the prophecy. Very fast align, stealth for scouting anoms and picking targets, less drones in play for same damage when it comes to PvP, and those weapon disruptors are gonna make for a serious advantage when I’m going 1850 m/s stable. If you’re trying to use drones in null, this is your guy right here. Just be careful without warp stab... inertia + mwd + small signature radius should make up for it

I use a medium strike cannon in my two highslots, they don’t require any energy to fire and they have a treat range You should try it

@@DanielRepasky 21.45 km optimal range with an accuracy falloff of 20.82 km So at about 42 km, I’m doing 50% damage. The range is great for droneboats! But I’m usually kiting at a 25 km range due to warp disruptors.

About the drones, I'd run Amar + Minmatar Drones because they fly the fastest and have the best tracking speed (think that gives also more critical hits). To be sure what is better I'd do some anomalies like 3x with each drone set and stop the time.

Use the large group shield booster instead of the medium cause it has the same power grid requirement and gives a higher boost.

Great video cpt. My arbitrator is collecting dust as I see no good use for it. If you fit a cloak the scan res drops massively and you get a 30 sec lock delay. It's not as strong or as useful as a prophecy and I'd honestly say a VNI would be just as useful as this. You could argue to use it as a scout but a frigate could do the same if not better in that role. The lock delay genuinely kills covert cruisers I believe.

@@captainbenzie Of course it stops it being used as an ambush ship but as the scan resolution is so low you'd only really get people who were afk anyway? I just think 30 seconds is absolutely brutal and genuinely don't see a reason for having that functionality. You're right, you definitely wouldn't want to train into multiple ship types but I must say I feel the difference between this and a VNI is marginal considering I am a drone pilot and own all the mentioned ships I personally haven't noticed the difference in power. That being said I do see the difference getting in a prophecy and love the security of the tankiness it offers. Im liking your frigate manifesto, do you think you'll do the same for destroyers?

Hi, i would suggest maximizing the drones range and using mwd + battery for keeping distance. Additional a nos and a warpscrambler in the mids. Like one would with a kiting build. It should do okay vs t6 elites, but i wouldn’t try to do t7 storyline missions with it.

Drone navigation for low slot in my opinion is awesome when it comes to... A: moving between targets, reducing down time for drones attacks at range. B: it allows you to recall your drones when they are being webbed and popped in pvp.

Was looking forward to prophesy but if this thing can sneak passed gate camp so I can complete missions, I’m game :) Love your drone comments. Actually preferring em and explosive drones, mainly because of better tracking and speed over the kinetic/thermal counterparts. Didn’t have a web on my vexor but my em drones delivered... :) and still killed one of those zoomer elites locking down my vexor. It was slow but I know hammerheads would not have been able to do the job.

Hey capt! I did the math for the lowest kill time for drones against amarr ships. 5 hammerheads came on top, but the differences were nominal, milliseconds. However, if launched from a great distance their speed is pretty meh. Valkeries and Infiltrators will apply damage faster.

They really need to add the decloak lock delay bonus to all the covert ops ships. They feel almost useless that you have to wait 30 seconds to lock in a covert ops ship. Hopefully this will change in the near future. Especially since the bubbles are here in a day.

Was planning on going Gila. Been flying this ship for something to fly in the interim. That being said I have mine shield tanked and still enjoy it for running missions. Later on down the line I'll start training armor so can use this ship for pvp/home defense as a sort of support ship similar to your build.

I disagree with you saying that the cov ops ships can’t be used for pvp. I fly a cov op blackbird and love it fir pvp. I used it as a scout while cloaked, when I find something I work out how far it is from the warp point, jump to the nearest planted, de cloak and comeback. But I do see how that could be annoying to do.

Not sure if the Drone range thing is a bug or just a balance issue. If I read correctly in Eve online the drones still fight if outside range but you can’t give new comments (sounds realistic too, no need to tell the drone “keep shooting, go go go”). I know there other considerations like rats attack drones in EO. However an other balance would have been nice, as we loose an unique aspect of a weapon... I like complex games, so the more different things the better

How do you turn on and off screen record whilst playing the game? I can switch screens but that shoots me away of course. Also, I think maybe you need to compare ISK per hour. Sure, Arbitrator can do it but at a much slower rate. Prophecy will make its expenditure back sooner and have you back in the black saving for the next fun thing 👍

Can you do some videos on how to survive getting jumped by a PVP-er in some of these ships. I've been playing for 2 weeks, and I've had to repair my Vexxor Trainer 8 times so far, every time because some PVP-er warped in while I was in the middle of a big PVE fight and locked me down before I even realized he was there. Despite my very choice mwd, i always seem to have a hard time keeping some ships at range, i swapped out 2 of the range rigs for a damage and speed. My fit is very different from yours but is straight murderous. Cant recommend arby covops enough

I can't speak for electronic jammer. But warpdrive radius refers to the penalty you incur to signature radius when activating a micro warp drive. That bonus reduces that penalty.

@@CleosetricVlyers i haven't flown a blackbird, but all the ships I've used a MWD on, even ones that didnt have a sig radius bonus, the speed they got outweighed the debuff. This was on smaller ships though. I'm assuming this bonus is present the BB because it already has a huge radius, and this bonus keeps my previous statement true. I don't recommend speed tanking with a MWD tho, because it's really difficult to remain cap stable without high skills. That's just my opinion though. I'm sure it wouldn't be half bad with a good NOS and being up close and personal.

I have both. Def not better than a prophecy for stories. Will be one of the best non-SOE ships for exploring if that ever comes. And sig radius of 91.3 is tiny for a cruiser. Only some minmitar ships are smaller. Skills make it have the sig of a fat destroyer

@@cossackx It helps on high level anomolies where the warp gate puts you in the middle of a load of rats, if you are cloaked then they dont target you and you can retreat to a safe distance before engaging. A VNI would be lit up like a Christmas tree as soon as you entered the anom.

For null pve not to bad a fit, stories I'd change acouple things but not to shabby. I'll suggest throwing the medium groups away and run larges. If you tech into em they do work great but for some reason the devs made the mediums suck.

Kinda confused... if I have 5km (Drone5) + 15km (Prophecy) + 20km (base) and slap on 3x range2 rigs for additional 30km I have effective 70km from a BC. How is this different from Arbitrator???

Where are your advance drones and expert drones, those are 8 +km in a reasonable amount of time, almost 70km if you change one range rig for a dps rig.

Dude, chill. Nobody is going to. Point is that you can fit this either PVE, PVP or something in between which might be the most interesting point. Though I’d still say that space turkey is the better ratter since you don’t actually need more than BC command in BC skills and drone DPS is significantly higher.

It’s def a weird hodgepodge fit that isn’t optimized for anything. Mine is a standard armor tanker that does 400 dps cold out to 43 km. I’ll stick with that. Maybe switch out a rig for range.
