When you export any automated lighting as an .ssproj, the autoloop.bin file disappears. When this happens, the Prime 4 engine lighting won’t accept your sound switch project. I’ve been struggling to get this to work for so long till I found out it was getting rid of the autoloop.bin. Not sure why it happens, but new sound switch projects keep the file, automated lighting for songs currently gets rid of it. Maybe something to look into.

Just been trying the engine lighting option with the mixstream pro. When connecting a supported Moving head to the Soundswitch mini interface, I get color variation but no movement at all.I am using mp3 tracks already analyzed on the Mixstream that were not scripted or from tracks downloaded from TIDAL. What do I have to do to get the head to move?

Hi, can with this one SoundSwitch Micro DMX and PRIME 4 -> control more lights ... lets say Cameo HYDRABEAM 400 RGBW (2pcs) and Cameo WOOKIE 400 RGB Lasers (3pcs) without aditional PC? Prime 4 with update have light control.

Noob question - I have plugged my SS into the Prime 4, updated all the software, clicked on SS export on and I have hooked it up to a moving head, but the light but the light does not respond at all, am I missing hitting something really simple?

I have followed the setup to using soundswitch on my sc5000m but I can't get my scripted tracks to work the beat grids in engine lighting. I just want to know what am I doing wrong that my saved projects in soundswitch is not working with my beat grids or light show just it static mode. I'm using a sc5000m and lc6000 with a Numark scratch mixer

Partly yes. If you want scripted tracks then yes if you just want to use Autoloops then no.

For Philips HUE yes, if you are using the DMX interface you will need to export your SoundSwitch project as shown in the video.

This needs to be done in the desktop software. To change the assigned effect, right click on the Movement effect in the desktop software and assign a different effect.

No, you need to AutoScript your light shows before exporting. However, the Autoloops feature will work for tracks that are not scripted.

As long as the drive can be read by the Engine OS systems Engine Lighting will also be able to read the drive.

Hi Matt, You need an X1800 or X1850 for Engine lighting to function correctly.

Its pretty basic. Basic and Pro mode only change the UI controls, all of the backend features are identical.

@@djcipher to be fair, you can already use SoundSwitch with CDJs, however it’s limited to the Autoloop feature. But it’s unlikely that Pioneer hardware will be supported by SoundSwitch. Hello, I'm new to the DJ world just bought a Denon DJ SC Live 4 as I won a deal in my area. Even though I'm a complete beginner I went for SC live 4. So for lighting, this is what I understood:- 1 Get the offline music in your pc on engine DJ then auto-generate the light thing, export the music to USB then connect to SC live 4 2 Depending on the lights you got Hue or DMX make sure they are either connected via USB if DMX or Hue hub. If DMX is not wireless purchase the DMX wireless adapter and connects to the SC LIVE 4 USB. 3 (a)In SC live 4 make sure the USB is selected for music, (b)Go to lightning settings and select the. hue or DMX whichever you're using. My questions Will you please correct if any of the above points are wrong and Can I use DMX lights without wifi- so daisy chain and then pick anyone DMX light to connect via wire to SC live 4, or thats not possible? Can I also connect both Hue and DMX at the same time? Do I need to press something on SC Live 4 to do that lastly does the music always have to be exported to USB for lights to sync with the music, or can this be done on the fly using Serato DJ pro or any other app on pc playing music via let's say SoundCloud connected to SC live 4?
