At 23:32, products(first: 20) with variants(first: 250)...cost is WAY too high and well over 1,000. Also, isn't the max possible at 100 variants? Was the limit higher at the time of this video or does that code not actually represent the example page being shown?

So the interface is hard coded on Shopify servers and it is impossible to add custom "tables", like in MySQL?

Yes, it is possible! Look for buy buttons on Shopify, but it is not really recommended! you would want to have you customers buy within your app without getting out of it...
