First of all, thank you for making this video series. I have a question: Can I use this same editor to create levels for Duke Nukem 3D, Blood, Shadow Warrior or is it for Ion Fury levels only? thanks

The editor can be used to make Duke3D maps as well (it was first made for that originally). I think blood only supports Mapedit for now, but I think efforts are being done to create a Blood supported version of mapster32 really soon.

Hope these videos explain what makes a good level. I've been wanting someone experienced to explain that for ages. What do the scripts do?

The scripts help to do batch stuff that would otherwise take too long to do without them. As well as other various ion fury related things.

@@benjaminfoley919 I didn't make these scripts but I'm sure a lot of IF related stuff wouldn't work on duke3d, maybe some basic stuff like multiple tagging modifiers, etc... but don't expect a high compatibility at all.

Really sorry for feeling like a bit of a dummy, but I'm not able to extract the GRP file. I feel like I'm missing a step somewhere. I've downloaded the level design pack and I've got the Ion Fury files, but I'm unable to open or extract either of them on my Windows 7 computer. Do I need to put them in the same folder, or is there more? Again, really sorry if I'm not understanding this correctly.

Try renaming the grp to zip, see if that works.

@@DavoXDesign I can't seem to. Sadly, my PC doesn't have the option to type in the format to change it. I've found the grpconv application, but that doesn't seem to show anything.
