Wow! Thank you so much. I've had this for almost 2 years and put it on a shelf. I just pulled it out a few days ago and finally for the first time figured out how to record voice and a midi instrument. This is so cool!

Thanks a lot for the review, very informative ! I need a little clarity on my situation, I don't have studio monitors, so I I'm planning to use my AKG K361 headphones (32 Ohm) as output. Will this be enough to get a decent sound considering that the Presonus 24c has a high output impedance (22,2 Ohm) and 51,2 mW output power into 32 Ohm ? Or maybe I need another audio interface with a lower output impedance like focusrite solo or 2i2 ( 0,32 Ohm output impedance and 32 mW output power into 32 Ohm ) ?

Great Video from Some One who really knows and wants people to learn and also to know about Studio One I think Presonus should hire you for your ability to train and teach about the product in a very short time. This video has to be in the top ten of videos specifically about the studio 26c. There aren't that many vids on KZbin about 26c since I just got it and have been searching...It would be a lot more helping to put Studio 26c ...USB Interface in the video. Because the only reason i found this was on-top of 3 videos and this was a related video I wasn't sure would be talking more about 26c specifically. Respects.

Hey there, It's just an amazon basics usb 3.0 cable extension. I've noticed no issues using it with audio, however, I don't use it all the time. My main interface, a Studio 1824, is plugged straight in. Thanks!

@@ZachEverett thanks for replying! I'm getting the 26c, but my somewhat old PC has usb 2.0 on the back. You know the problem. Will the USB 3 cord work? I wonder why Presonus supplied such a short USB cord. Thanks be safe and well 🙏

@@1siriuswolf the 3.0 cable will work. It's the same connector, it'll just run in USB 2.0 format. The cable could be longer, perhaps they'll make it a little longer in the future. I'll pass the thought along to someone at the company. Thanks!

I have the presonus studio one 5 pro and i want to replace my audiobox USB 96 with a Harbinger L1402 FX-USB mixer and interface. I don't know how to get studio one to recognize the Harbinger mixer. Help please!!

I've plugged my guitar into the interface and I can see studio one registering the tones when I hit the record button, but after the recording when I hit the playback I can't hear any sound

Hi there thanks for the tips I have just bought this interface. I realise when I plug in usbc to the interface, it's not locking so it's always coming loose and it's frustrating when I'm trying to record a song I literally have to hold the cable to prevent it from coming loose from my interface. Is anyone else having this problem?

Can I ask if this interface, The 26c is capable of running the shure sm7b by any chance? As i've seen some people say it can and others say it can't. Many say it can due to its db gain. Thanks!

Hey there, You can definitely run an sm7b through the 26c, however, you'll to have the mic very close to mouth to get the sm7b sound. A lot of people use a lift with the sm7b in addition to an interface, so that's worth looking into. Thanks for stopping by!

Befor I had Behringer U-Phoria UMC204 . Now I bought studio 26c .The vocal recording sounds disgusting. maybe because I have an AMD processor? The previous sound card did not make such bad recordings. the Behringer U-Phoria UMC204 audio interface is half the price of Studio 26c and the vocals are recorded much better then Studio 26c. I have not found how to solve this problem anywhere.

Hey, there! Your processor shouldn't have anything to do with it, this video was recorded in a PC with a Ryzen 7 3700x. First thing I would check is the sample rate, in presonus's Universal Control software, make sure your sample rate is set to 44.1k as well as in your DAW. Let me know how that goes.
