Interested in this for the loopback feature for remote interviews. Will I be able to record both myself and the remote interviewee directly into davinci resolve (Fairlight) or do I need to use another software for that? Thanks

hello! for this PreSonus Studio 26, it does come together with Studio One software, you might you use the software for your recording.

I did abut of research since I posted my question :) I am wondering if using Studio One to EQ the microphones (both mine and ideally the mic of the remote guest) and sending the feed into OBS is doable. (trying to plan for good sounding interviews while cutting smrime spent on doing sound edit in post 😊).

I have this same one but why does the USB light up red and my vocals don't record anymore. All it does is record sound and it sounds like a damn robot when I play back. Any help?

I am new to this so bear with me. If I purchase this Presonus unit, can I plug in my bass and play back KZbin videos and my bass for purposes of learning songs via headphones?

It’s possible. But you will need to set the other virtual input to the Studio One recording software. And you need to record the KZbin audio to the recording software. Then play back the tracks and jam or practice using your bass guitar together with it.

Using a TRS cable, I want to connect a mixer Pioneer DJ to Studio 24c to Line 2. The mixer has outputs in XLR for R and L (separately) that using an adaptor I will convert into the TRS. Can I? Will it be captured in stereo? I want to transmit to OBS: a microphone in Line 1 and music in stereo in Line 2. Can I?

Plugging a condenser Mic and a guitar in to channels 1 and 2 at the same time will give a terrible result. It's because the 48v phantom power is applied to both channels. The correct way is to record guitar and condenser microphone seperately. Using phantom power on an input that doesn't require it can easily damage equipment. If you want to record guitar at the same time as a microphone, use a dynamic mic, and turn the phantom power off.
