Thank you so much Sandy, I really really enjoyed watching you create all these beautiful and gorgeous pieces. I really really love ❤️ all of them. I have Brusho’s so it’s so interesting for me to see how they work in different ways. Your videos are really really awesome Sandy. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags ❤❤❤❤

Beautiful cards Sandy. Brusho can fade as it dries, but I've found that if you spray it with hairspray afterwards the colours look slightly brighter again.

The bottom left of the "hello" cards, remind me of poppies. It's absolutely gorgeous.. So kudos for your experiment. hehe

I liked both of your flowers. I like that the Color Burst ones looked like poppies. I guess you can use one for one kind of flower and the other for another kind of flower. Interesting.

Thank you for showing us how to think out if the box. I was stuck on just sprinkling it on. I have been having fun with Primary Elements. I found out by playing. You cover a stencil with heavy medium, only. Next sprinkle on the powdered pigments. It spreads slowly and looks dimensional. I hope you try it. Thank you again for all you do.

I just found your videos and am so excited to find the comparison between Brushos and Colorburst watercolor powders. I just received my Brushos and I can't wait to follow your examples and produce my own painting. I hate wasting my supplies, so I look forward to using my "failed" water coloring projects to make backgrounds for cards. Thanks sooooo much!

Thanks for the comparison! I got the entire set of Brusho last year on a whim, but then the Color Burst were introduced and I wondered if I invested in the wrong product. Glad to know that the Brusho are the powders I would have chosen if I had a chance to compare the two before buying. Thank you very much :)

Hi Sandy. Thanks so much for this series of videos. I have been playing with the colorbursts - I have the brights and the Caribbean are on their way and I just received my 24 set of Brusho. So nice to see what you have been doing with yours so I have more ideas as to what I can do with mine. I didn't realize that the 8 were entirely different colors so those are going on my wishlist. I'll be downloading your charts so super duper thanks for those. Thanks again. :)

Love the playing you did with these products! Love the affects also! One thing I would be worried about is the particles going in your nose and lungs. Not sure what that would do to a person like me who has asthma. Thanks for sharing.

I have the color burst and find so far the Yellow one comes out more "clumpy" than the others if you know what I mean I always get more than I need with the yellow. but they are cool to play with I like using a stencil then adding the powder and water.

Hi Sandy, let's say that I don't want to use these for the cool effects. How would you rate them as a watercolor and do you know if they are fade resistant? Thanks for the great videos.
@SandyAllnock1
@SandyAllnock1 9 жыл бұрын
I would rate them as really difficult if you were only going to use them in a palette. Lots less messy watercolors out there. I haven't let anything sit long enough to see if it fades but I'll test that!

Hello, great videos. Can you let me know what the "craft assistant" tray thing you use is actually called, I couldn't quite get it from your video. I've looked on Amazon and Ebay but nothing comes up. It could be because I am in UK but it should still be showing something. What make did you say it was? Thanks and love your work

I wonder what would have happened to the Colorburst "poppies" if you would have lifted the two corners and let the color run towards the center. I am thinking it would create a more organic look, and maintain the vibrant color

Sandy, I have to say that I can't see any problems with these "failures" at all! I suppose it's all relative anyway, but are you being too hard on yourself? It's just a thought...
@SandyAllnock1

Every artist gauges, what is a success or failure based on their own level. My own level says that these were not successes where they might be perfectly fine for other folks.
