Thank you so much to Hair Salon Nalu in Tokyo for treating us to hair makeovers!!! I asked my subscribers to choose their favourite hair colour from a selection of 4 images, and my friend Tiasha had a surprise hair makeover! I also had some sneaky stuff done to my hair as well - stick around to the end of the video to see the final results!

It's probably a low volume with something like Olaplex added in or used directly after! It's 100% possible to get a lot of lift without a lot of damage :)

I'm pretty sure she said 6% which is 20vol, they might have used olaplex or a product that acts the same way which helps the hair re bond and strengthens. (L'Oreal released their own product called smart bond) Like said before, no such thing as a damage-less lifting process but they can use treatments to help reverse the process. Same with Alex's Smoothing treatment, that is advertised as Damage-less and it works by helping the hair after it's been processed. The ultrasonic iron uses a cooling technique instead of heat (which is what we hairdressers use during keratin straightening/smoothing). The cooling is fantastic because it closes cuticles and would enhance the smoothing process which is helped by the vibrations. Rather then relying on the heat to activate the keratin treatment.

I get my hair done at a Korean salon and I love that they have ear covers and cover my face with a little tissue when I have it washed. SO much more comfortable. Last time I was there my stylist warmed up a blanket with a hair dryer and tucked me in while they were rinsing the colour out of my hair. Love them so much! 💕💕

It wasn't a straightener... it didn't straighten the hair or produce heat if you listened to her it only evaporated the water so the treatment would sink deep into the hair shaft. It was only for use with that specific treatment and did NOT straighten the hair. She used a normal heat straightener near the end right before she curled the hair that was corded but the cordless tool that looked similar to a straightener was absolutely not a straightener and she explained that clearly in the video so you might want to go back over that section and listen/ watch again because it's actually an interesting piece of Japanese tech. Only to be used with hair medication (treatment) to help in absorb into the inner hair shaft.. no heat.. only ultrasonic vibration. Zero straightening.

@@j0562 I never said that they DON'T have cordless straighteners..I just said that what was used in this video for that hair treatment was not a cordless straightener since someone didn't listen to what she said in the video and thought that it was. I then pointed out that the straightener they DID use later in the video had a cord. There are actually several cordless straighteners out there that are rechargeable.. some better than others.. but I was responding to the statement that cordless straighteners were used in this video and they were not. A lot can be learned from actually listening to what is said during the video and it was obvious that the first commenter did not listen at all to the explanation about the cordless ultrasound tools they used. Sometimes I think people listen to these videos on mute and then want to act like they know what's going on in them.

No such thing a "damage-less" bleach. But there are lighteners that are cream or oil based that cause significantly less damage than traditional powder lighteners. I'm assuming the treatment Alex had is similar to the keratin smoothing treatments we have here in the United States.
