I am installing a new battery in the boat. im also hooking up a new transducer for the front Lawrence unit.

There's only a couple of companies that make batteries now. Harbor freight has liquid electrical tape, just a liquid rubber, it works great, used it on my jeep. I enjoy all the videos!

It's always good to buy as many parts from one store as you can. Thataway, you don't end up takin your old battry to the wrong store for a replacement and they look at you like you are a nut!

@@tommylitchfield3450 ive done that . Thats why i just go to the same place . I normally buy parts from O’Rielies and batteries from autozone. We have a napa here i like them as well just a little higher on some things

Justin, as you know any electrical connection on a boat is very sensitive to corrosion. Dielectric grease is a great thing to apply to all pin connections anywhere in your boat, it keeps corrosion down, and allows for easy disconnection. I've found all my wire to terminal connections were soldered with silicone sealer protecting the connection from corrosion. There are butt connectors that have solder within the connector, and a sealant that you heat, and shrink to completely seal, and protect the wires from corrosion. These steps are time consuming, but will protect your connections for many, many years too come. Also, a boat cover cheap such as a tarp can keep rain, leaves, and sun damage from affecting your boat inside. You may have to change the tarp every year, but they are cheap. Justin, I do believe that on transducers the pointy end always faces forward, as in the transom mount transducer. Bring your tools, and tie wraps with you so you can make adjustments on the water to that troll motor transducer. Just remember, the first time you take your boat out, it"s a trial run! Once everything is working correctly, it's set for many other trips. Good Luck out there!

Keeping your mom in my prayers!!!. I know what you mean about the doctors ,getting appointments in a decent time frame is a struggle. Had some blood work last week and doctor wants me to come in cause of some results. Gotta wait till 16th tho . Ordered two lithium batteries and didn't come in had to place a despute over it . I see we have same trolling motor too.

I'm curious about them hitch balls on the trailer, are they just for lining up the boat when the trailer is underwater or finding the trailer in the mirror easily or are they part of some slick trick that i dont know about, i could see tying the boat rope to one for one man launching
