How are you and the baby after fully vaccinated? my wife took 1st dose of moderna last month and my relatives want to cancel her 2nd dose this coming weekend. I'm really confused :(

@@putingtupatv7526 both baby and myself are perfectly healthy. Had an ultrasound just a few days ago and baby was measuring on time (8w5d at the ultrasound) with a good strong heartbeat. Here is part of the reason I was comfortable taking it. The Covid vaccine is a nonliving vaccine. Your body is introduced to the virus so that it can create the antibodies against it but the nonliving virus is actually cleared from your system after a few days leaving only the antibodies behind. Nonliving vaccines have been used in pregnant women for years. Vaccines that contain living viruses (like the chickenpox or measles vaccine as examples) are not recommended for pregnant women. A pregnant womans immune system is considered compromised. A nonliving virus can't multiply, spread or make you sick. But it CAN create an immune response (the antibodies) without risk to the recipient. I hope this made sense.

@@putingtupatv7526 but please do your own research and you and your wife make the decision that is right for you! I struggled to decide myself because I've dealt with recurrent miscarriage in the past and this is the first healthy pregnancy I've ever had. The research I did put my mind at ease but I looked at the scientific research. Social media is full of fear mongering without any evidence for support so please take anything from those sources with a grain of salt.

I got my first vaccine shot and am half way through my pregnancy I did not habe any symptoms besides a sore arm . I think this is a sensitive matter I was terrified 😨 and still am I was completely against this . I've been trying to get pregnant for 9 years and finally did so for me personally I decidedI wanted to but this was something I thought about for 6 months . But this was a tuff and stressful decision given the work I do I felt it was better for me to get it but I strongly believe it's your choice and do not let anyone pressure you into doing it .

Similar story. 5 years 3 miscarriages (last one 8 weeks ago). I'm now 7 weeks pregnant (Thank God for small miracles) . I got my first shot 4 weeks ago (around the time of implantation) and just got home from my second shot. Hoping I don't have any symptoms. It was such a hard decision to make but I feel like I've don't the right thing for me and my family. Everyone has the right to make their own decision though.

Can those who got the shot while pregnant can you tell me what vaccine you chose to get? I’m in a similar situation, tried for over four years finally got pregnant after multiple IVF rounds and I’m high risk but am being forced by my employer to get it or will be terminated. Please advise which shot you both got with no side effects
@cassandrahepp6445
@cassandrahepp6445 3 жыл бұрын
@@ShelliXobabi I chose Moderna. My first shot was August 2nd (no side effects) my second was around September 5th and I had a mild fever and was tired the next day. Had an ultrasound yesterday and baby was 8w5d and completely healthy. This is my 4th pregnancy but it's the first viable one and that's after 5 years of fertility struggles as well.

I will not be taking it but I will be going to my local holistic practitioner to get natural medication keep on hand to help with any symptoms may arise from COVID or Delta. If we are not going to take the jab we should at least get natural medicine to help with COVID symptoms and keep our immune system strong.
