Hey my name is Carl, or Dozer the farmer.
Thank you for watching my content; just message me on KZbin and I’ll try my best to answer. I am here to show you the day to day running of a Kiwi (New Zealand) dairy farm.
We milk 260 cows at peak and run 2 beef blocks that support the farm with silage and letting the young calves graze up at the run offs. Grandad runs one and Dad live on the other.
I started KZbin on the 4th of April 2022 with the idea to show everyone what life and the day to day running of a farm in NZ is like with the hope that people get a better understanding of where milk comes from and one of the families that love doing it.

We got 900 cows on halter puls our bulls as well and our heaifs as well

Hey mate. Nah not really as we don’t really need it. As dad and I are good at picking out bulling cows and reels are easy to set up. The price we got quoted just to see was 50k for 250 cows for the base price without mating or fence controls. Maybe in the future but it’s not on the cards anytime soon. Better for those bigger farms with more herds and staff as it does make things easier on staff.

Hello Carl mate & Chris, wow cow Tessa 360 is on time waiting for her scratches and a pat on the behind. Scar 59 cow is friendly not skittish. Yea it looks like you are going to get a whopper of a storm coming mate. Don’t care too much for the lightning though. What going to happen to the two limp cow’s ? I think you told me wants before. We still have snow and ice all the way up to middle of March , then it melts and floods the fields and roads for a week almost . Wow the maze is looking great and green . Does the maze corn got tassels on top.Wow those cows our going to love the pasture. Now when cow’s have their calf’s do you put block in tits to dry them out?

I have the exact same question actually? Because I don't know what drone he's using at the moment as there are a range of different drones out there and it's a bit challenging to guess the one Carl is using the thing that I do know is this @rohrerdairyproductions4080 is using the Mac Vac drone I think it's called something along the line of Mac Vac 2

Hey mate. It’s a DJI pro 4. Good drone. Wasn’t cheap but got all spare parts with it.

Nice drones alright. But I found DJI Drones are good, small compact, easy to use, good battery life, once I get all the features right I’ll be better with it. Only goes 1.6km from the controller but can go up to 3km with line of sight.

@@Dozerthefarmer Actually according to @rohrerdairyproductions4080 he started with a DJI Drone then upgraded to the one he's currently using so I think and I have a funny feeling that he'll agree with you.
