Can I keep from becoming CL married by having my boyfriend sign paper work ?

We do not wish to be considered common law married. It is legal to hand write this and wr both have it notarized? I'm 64, buying a house and paying cash for it. This is all my retirement funds and I don't want him to ever be able to try to take it away from me. We both agreed on this and he is willing to sign and have it notarized .
