I employed a lot of kids on construction sites. A young French backpacker would work for 16 hours a day for two teams on construction money. She didn’t do much. It didn’t matter. Tradies we’re guaranteed to turn up every day and never stop. She earned a fortune to continue her travels. The best part? I think she was completely unaware of what was going on. The nut in the center of the box is your aim point. Put your weight into it let the box do the work. Don’t mix your mud too thick or too loose lol I like to straighten my left arm or whatever arm is closest to the box so I ensure I’m getting good pressure on the wall that way it’s consistent and not wavy and hollow in spots.

Keep the nut on the wheels centered with your tape line, straighten your arm that is closest to the head when running a flat,and engage your core muscles. Also don't watch the box head, look a couple feet in front of you for a straight line. It's like staring at your steering wheel when driving,you wouldn't do that you would look where you want to go. Off to a great start though,we'll done.

Only one thing keep it clean, with a 4 in your back pocket and clean the blade and spillage will create what's called Christmas trees in the corner as you start if it's clean each pass it will reduce the amount of sanding needed or back wipe with the 10

Best advice I could give you is, put your lead hand closer to the box. Kinda helps with the awkward weight of it. And think of your hand with the break as your steering wheel keep it straight the box stays straight. Other than that you look like you got it.

Turn left hand over and bring handle angle closer to wall and you can get more stability and pressure on box and when box runs out of mud why keep going on wall??? Fill it back up…. Are you trying to become a drywall finisher??? I envy the man who gave you a job …, and I bet he is never late to work for sure! I respect that you are trying…, All the drywall tools require good principles in. Use of leverage and angles using center points of pressure for even dispersement of. Mud on walls and corners….. Hey, I have been doing the s*** for 44 years. And she is doing a fine job. But she's only showing you a belly joint which are about the easiest freaking things to do. Show me doing a vaulted ceiling. Film her doing ceilings on scaffolding. But I must say both of us are a rare breed. We are white and so is my crew. And we constantly have to deal and compete with 25 illegals against 4 of us, not very fair. It wasn't this way 15 years ago, but it is vicious out here. Now they are destroying us we don't make that much money anyway

1st you hold a regular broom in your in your arms as it was the flat box5 and imagine sweeping a straight strip of dust with slight pressure minus lean,just enough to remove dust.2nd apply same technique to flatbox5 3rd then happily master the flatbox5 you awesome goddesses 😎

The only tip I would say is don't make ur mud to thick. Those been out for awhile.... family been doing drywall long time. Third generation here. U still need to tighten up on some things. But very good job.
