This has quickly become one of my favourite channels, no messing just getting on with the jobs, amazing to see how this vehicle has gone from abandoned in a field, to where you’re at now! Can’t wait to see it finished

You have such a cool thing going with the channel and the projects i cant stop watching. I do admit i came from WD but i stayed for every single video and the adventure has been worth all the time i spent. You truly did encourage me to go out and fix the machines that were left for later times, had some old ATVs/dirtbikes i just needed to put time into and having your videos in the background makes it so much more bearable. Don't think i will ever have the time or money for an armored vehicle restoration any time soon but maybe one day and i will know who to blame for it. Keep up these awesome videos, and thanks for letting everyone in the group to add something the video. Seeing the pups always makes the day better.

roger that, i've seen a few with Dowty kit still fitted, but no drive shafts (easily made i know) i guess in them days the MoD were or might be a little niffed if a bunch of civi's actually made them work instead of drowning by leaving plugs out - a good friend of mine had one and got tugged by the military police, who thought he might have nicked it, it took twenty minutes of explaining, them cops are not very bright

I've seen a modification where quick release hydraulic fittings are plumbed to the hyd lines from the engine driven pump. That way if the engine dies on the Stolly, you can connect up a stand alone hydraulic rig or connect it to another Stolly similarly equipped with jumper hoses so that you can operate the crane to unload whatever is in the load bed in order to lift the engine decks to access the engine.

You could wire a heater element into the pipe with insulation under it and a button battery. Put a pressure switch in the mouth part so as you bite down on the pipe, it will smoke whatever oil you put in it. You could go somescotch brite, sanding foam or steel wool to hold the oil.

Well, the nice thing about setting off on a voyage with a Stolly is that you’ve plenty of room in the back for forty casks of rancid water, nine barrels of salt pork and a case of ship’s biscuit marked “Best of luck with the Big Push 1914 lads!” Oh and Jack’s going to need peg, patch and parrot to pull this off nicely.
