My brother, my father, was a tank driver in the Iraqi army in the 80s. He drove most types of Russian tanks. They have more safety than most tanks in the world, and they have room to move. I don’t know, but your tank is different from the tanks that my father explained to us about. The system How to operate it and how to switch between soldiers when one of them dies

Great video! Engaging and interesting with a great project outcome. Well done! Much more interesting than the demolition clown. Anybody can destroy a piece of machinery. It takes talent and drive to bring one back to life. Cheers!

Is it me, or does the soldier in the middle of the photo at 15.42 look just like Joe??? Bit spooky! Or is there some GI DNA in the Hewes family?

RPM really does do a difference to the engine sound it has the same cylinders as a Lamborghini but much different sound it’s more aggressive

Lovely stuff, seeing someone who knows what they're about fixing old things, even if not armoured. Remarkable how even relatively 'modern' stuff shows its true design age with the cab off. Also: No farmers - no food!

I enjoy these vids immensely, it would seem... Warped humor but all quite down-to-earth and natural, as others have mentioned. Good attitudes and admirable team work, without all the "fluff" one finds on so many channels these days. The channel is set up like "old school" KZbin to a great extent and it's rather cool in this day and age. The questions were often amusing (as were the answers lol) and do cause on to shake their head at times. Thanks for NOT pushing the "like/subscribe" bit and for not being over the top/in-your-face all the time (one thing I hate when watching photography/railroad/aviation channels that are my primary interest). Sure, a lot of us would enjoy helping out on such projects but it truly is NOT for everyone, no matter how well-intentioned. I've worked in trucking for decades now (and hate it, to be honest lol), even transporting windmill blades for two years, but it's not something I'd share in reality since it would worry me about someone's welfare. I've also worked on flightlines and railroad operations in the past, which can be equally dangerous. So, we are all lucky you take the time to share the vids and let us hang out while looking over your shoulders virtually. Very cool, in my book!

This was a very cool adventure, especially since you went directly to the US South for the most amusing culture-shock possible here in the States... lol I was shaking my head while watching them loading with the chains and safety beard. It happens more often than I care to admit... Sad but true... I think safety warning labels on a plethora of products began because of a US "hold my beer" moment... lol As for the not-so-concealed weaponry, everyone here knows it is for self-defense against the carnivorous armadillos that have evolved in the southeast... {cough, cough} After driving big trucks here for over 31 years, I chuckled when I heard the I-75 commentary (it sucks, top to bottom lol)... There is a reason I retreated to drive winch trucks in the oilfield of North Dakota/eastern Montana. At least you had a cool car to play with even if it attracted a wee bit of extra attention... :) Scranton... I'm envious now... I've been there yet have never been able to go to the museum. Pfffft... Seb needs to make the jaunt over here to see Union Pacific #4014 in operation. Seeing steam of any sort operating here is amazing but #4014 is another level entirely. Wyoming has some very rugged terrain for railroading and these articulated locomotives were the answer prior to diesel-electrics entering the scene. Even though it's after the fact, thanks for sharing this trip. Well done!

Thoroughly enjoyable to see this project from start to end (well, it never reeeeally ends, eh? lol). Loved the old electronics, for it reminds me of a trip I made to Pima Air and Space Museum a few years ago, delivering an old 1989 Ford stair truck they had purchased (stair trucks make great elevated platforms for the odd landscape photograph, by the way lol). After unloading out in the "backstage" restoration area, I asked if I could wander about to shoot images and was given the green light to go just about anywhere I wished, including the B-52 they were working on that just happened to be open that day... Climbing up into that bird, the first thing that struck me was that it smelled like one of the old tube television sets, for all the wiring was exposed and the electronics had been baking in the desert air. I do love seeing historical pieces revived and watching the attention to detail that you each put into these machines is really cool. I only wish I could photograph these! Long ago, before driving trucks, I worked for many years in radio stations and production studios, so I also enjoy your video editing immensely. Keep up the great work (and the "agricultural wiring" lol) :)
