I’ve lived in Las Vegas for five years and I saw my first Chuckwalla today. It was way bigger than the small lizards I’m used to seeing all the time. Very cool animal!

In Fountain Hills, Az I can tell you I have seen much, much larger.

can males and females be housed together in a large enclosure?

so sorry for the delay! i dont know why I didn't get an alert :( I am honestly not sure if males and females can be housed together on a regular bases. My assumption would be that, as with most reptiles, you'd only put them together when ready to breed them.

One male and two females is fine just watch out for bullying. 2 males not so good. 2 females do great with extra room. I have 3 and they’re awesome lizards
