I was wondering how the saibikoho hairs from the Rephr compared with those of the Koyudo? Does the Koyudo seem to have softer or more delicate or higher grade bristles?

In general, they are almost the same. The Koyudo Sakura Powder brush would feel more luxurious because of sheer volume of the Saibikoho hairs on the brush head. The rephr Saibikoho brush feels more delicate because the brush head is not full at the belly. So the “delicate” nature of the Saibikoho hairs is more apparent.
