In cold weather, my regular will show red all the time for the last quarter of the bottle, and it won't empty any further until the 2nd bottle also drops down to that level. So I always turn the new bottle off until the old is empty, and then turn the old off and the new on....if I don't turn the old off it will back fill from the new.

I don't have a regulator - so what is the best & easiest way to test then - was suggested to tip boiling water down the side of cylinder then slide palm of hand down cylinder until you could feel the cold?

No it won't. It won't tell you how to find out when your bottle will be delivered. The company continues to refer you to the online site Energy IQ for information and claims to offer live chat. The live chat only works for three narrowly defined FAQs, therefore no use. It won't tell you what to do when the green/clear/red indicator is jammed longterm and you can't keep track of your gas usage. You might also be interested to know (the video doesn't tell you) that if you inadvertently run out of gas you have to wait several days for the next delivery (you don't know when that will be) or pay $200 penalty for a prompt "emergency" delivery. If you can't go without a shower for days on end you'll pay the fee.
