You actually researched this. So happy. One tip. When the grow older expand the cage a bit because they should be able to hop around a lot. Also maybe put like a fleece or towel on the floor.

He kinda did. I'm not trying to hate, but they need a cat litter box because they have a top. The litter box needs to be full of hay and they shouldn't have a cage at all, not even to sleep in. They should be free to the whole house. Also the house should be bunny proofed. But, he did provide a better home then some people did. so, good job to him for that at least.
@saucymemes39405 жыл бұрын
It's Just Naima ok kinda true but the litter box acc does not need a lid and they don’t NEED a whole house that area is fine

@@itsjustnaima8155 The free to the whole house thing is just an opinion. A rabbit can be in a pen as long as its 8 square feet and are free roamed in at least a 16 square feet area for a couple hours a day. The care isn't wrong just because the bunny isn't being free to the whole house, again, that's an opinion. I agree with that opinion, however the minimum is only around 8 square feet of space as a cage

Lovveeee the set up!! Food and hay is great- Alfalfa for babies and Timothy for when they’re older. Maybe expand the cage a bit more as they start growing, and add a towel or some sort of mat so they don’t slide. If you can’t get the cage bigger, make sure to let them out for a couple hours a day, it would be best if you do this around dawn or dusk, because they sleep a lot in the day. My two mini lops free roam in my room so they have lots of space, maybe you try that, but I understand if you can’t. Remember lots of veggies (they love bananas) and not to many pellets because they can get very overweight. Have fun with your rabbits, you can create a really special bond 😊

Oh phew I was so scared when you said cage 😅 That’s a good size for now, just make sure to extend it when they get older. You did everything great, but just a few tips! First of all, that food and hay won’t last long, you should try Small Pet Select or the Small Pet Select thing on Amazon - it’s good quality, a good quantity, and a great price! Second, if you haven’t already, you should definitely binge all of Lennon the Bunny’s videos, it’s what I did when I got bunnies (; She’s so helpful and informative and she’s just a really cool person 😊 You’ll learn literally everything you need to know from her! And again, you’re definitely want to give them at least a few hours a day to roam around once you bunny proof, because they don’t have enough space to run around as of now, and I would really recommend a larger enclosure or full time free roaming - it’s really easy, and again, Lennon the Bunny’s channel can tell you all about doing it! Oh and one more thing, more thing, you’re gonna give them fresh greens day/night, right? I just didn’t see a bowl. Sorry to sound like a crazy bunny lady, I just wanna make sure you both can have the best time!! 😂💕 Thank you so so much for actually doing your research and using your platform to set a good example for how rabbits should be treated.

Recommend a rug for under cage with a tarp underneath. Will protect your wood floors from if water spills and if they pee to mark their territory. Also the rug they will enjoy having traction for their paws. A nice setup might also expand more for them also🙂.
