A smile and eye contact can speak volumes. Also, practice on everyone. Then it won’t feel awkward when you’re flirting with someone you’re actually interested in someone.

so, target practice? and if theperson thinks I'm into him, say "OHH ahaha no. I'm just practicing for when I see a man I find nice to look at"

You excel at being vivacious, Carey! In real life, or as you also say, in the wild - versus dating sites/online - works for me! Love your reference to Randy Newman's 'Short People'! For those who are of a certain age, there is a contrast between your example of the flirtatious ('pretty eyes") and the creepy ("pretty mouth", as in the movie, "Deliverance"). Hope that wasn't itself creepy. I'll show myself out.

There’s just really no need to comment on someone’s looks early on with so many other ways to compliment them I think.

Welcome! And who is this relative you speak of? Is this a sister, a distant cousin, one of your mom‘s close friends that you call a relative even though you’re not related? Lol. Hope you find some conversations that resonate with you! 🤎

it feels like every 3 or more years, a man will catch my eye and I would want to talk and say "I like your face, I want to know you" but I am in emotional pain so I can't look adorably friendly and be friendly, playful. if I'm 40 should I act like I'm a fun and flirty 18 year old? if a man looks busy should I go "screw this, it's about me and my lonelyness, I'm talking to him". if that is the case, how do I talk to a man who is working? a mail carrier doing his job. how do I get him to put attention on me? how do i touch a man when I'm touch avoidant? or a bit shy, or think just touching him is rude and invading his personal space. it's woman privilege that I can just start pawing at a man, while when they do it, it's unacceptable. will a man like it when an unattractive woman touches him? you are aware body language analysis is ableist what if we might have autistic spectrum disorder? I don't know if I have it. if he runs, do I let him go, or chase? maybe he is being cute and playing "catch me if you can". how many men exist where scoliosis is their type? or someone who is maybe "weirdo" or "my type is bipolar women!" women with potbellies. women in graphics tees and pattern leggings. long sleeve tees with patterns and jeggings. or should I replace all my clothing and pay for a style coach, and wear $200 pants with $500 shirts. or force myself to wear dresses why not use the innuendos? we're already touching him, we want him. isn't it how it works?

I think you should write a book. And also read a few. ;-) And therapy is never a bad idea if you truly have questions about some of these things you present. Also maybe that diagnosis would be helpful in better understanding what you would need in a partner. I think self-awareness is always a positive.

This is a great video, but, there's always an amount of risk to humor and especially sexual innuendo. I've had my share of bombs when I was teaching. Also I waited a month before I approached any innuendo with Debbie. The delightful part was she was thinking the same as I was on my first innuendo joke. Cheers!

From time to time, I hear from women, that men won't approach them, but what I often see, are women with stone-cold body language, tight lips, beady eyes, and bored facial expression. The message they convey is: "DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!". So lovely ladies, you're not getting approached? Well, now you know why most men would rather get their teeth pulled, than to get anywhere close to you. 😂

I am surprised and disappointed that you are often seeing women with offputting body language.
