Getting your Italian Drivers License l Move to Italy

When moving to Italy another thing you may want to consider is getting your Italian Drivers License. This obviously depends on how much you'll need to be driving but it can be useful!
Some countries allow you to convert your Italian Drivers License, but if you are from the US, Canada, UK, or Australia, when you move to Italy you will need to totally start from zero. Watch to find out how you can get a drivers license in Italy!

Unfortunately, you are not allowed to choose! you drive the school's car and is Manual. I have also heard those who converted their license if they didn't know the manual had to retake the driving test!

You can choose an automatic, just find a school that offers it. The only thing to consider is that if you take the test on an automatic, then you will not be allowed to drive anything besides that. So, you won't be authorized to drive a manual... only automatics.
