You were a probie you’re first year , all two years rotating and then you are, once again, sort of the junior man when you got back to your original house because you had to to prove yourself when rotation was done. You were kinda the new guy for the first 4 years on the job. That was me at the age of 35 ..haha. That also went away sometime after 9-11. However, you never learn enough. It’s a career of constant learning.

Chicago Chief Timothy says JAG OFF not Jackoff . Jagoff is a common word used in the fire service mostly in Illinois and Wisconsin. That how we refer to each other. At least that's how I've always known it to be. Plus Jagoff gets used alot when the Packers Beat the Bears!!!!! 🤣🇺🇲🍺
