Where's your Buy Me A Coffee link Jamie? I will always support your work! I'm focused on vocal and piano training right now but I will be back for more Inner Circle and Improvisation Mastery soon because you are The Master...and frankly, I miss your teaching style, its always fun! Note: my King Zephyr tenor and Couesnon alto both have a sweet wrap-around Bb table key so easy-street but the '36 Selmer Balanced Action is like flying into the cliffs of Dover at 50' altitude so even C# > B is a BEAR! As always, thank you sir!

Perfect timing Jamie. I definitely needed to work on my technique for my highs and lows. Seeing instant progress just working on the first few of the drills for the palm keys. Alto sax. Humbling. 👍🏽

By the way, I definitely need Sugru or a tenor sax or both. I have the rubber risers, but they’re still not tall enough.

Excited to play these, always need to work on palm key dexterity lol. A useful alternate fingering I've found that only works on my alto (but others should try out) is: front F for palm Eb. Can easily voice it up to altissimo G like on other horns, but wonder how common this is. I also like C + palm Eb and B + palm Eb for palm D when going from B or C.

@@gangofgreenhorns2672 for palm D you can also use the G and octave and voice the palm D, this on tenor works for me, alto not yet

Low notes. I throw the wrist B-to B-flat. Certain scales that involve coming down from G-sharp and into the low C-sharp upon hitting G-sharp put your pinky where you would for low C sharp, keep it there and keep going down the scale to C-sharp. It will make the scale (well for me) easier. Going the other way too. Also for low notes, it will be painful if you have even minor leaks. Make sure your machine is serviced.

I have been looking for drills to get more confident in hitting low A on bari because I am a fairly new bari player. I have been using A major triad arpeggios.
