Could you possibly take this video back and edit it and re release it? I really want to share this sermon with family and friends… like really bad. But I don’t want to give them a heart attack with that awful abrasive ocean sound that clips my speakers… I sincerely would appreciate it if you did because I really like this sermon. Thank you and God bless!!!

GFBC, I love your channel but please stop with the background noises and music. If you have a 2-minute excerpt and want to make it dramatic with quiet music in the back that's cool. But putting sounds and music over these full-length sermons, just sucks. Love you guys and wish there was a better way to say it, but many people including myself have been commenting this for a long time now.
Very well stated. A true Gospel message thundering across a pulpit does not need man’s assistance and enhancement. If I wanted music I would turn on a radio. I seek, desire, & hunger for expository preaching, a Godly gift so rare these days, and I wish GfBC would leave the sermons as they did when Voddie was there. Simple, strong Gospel sermons standing firmly on the cornerstone of the Church.

I understand what you mean. I wrestle with external noise (literal and figuratively) but I either discipline myself and push through or change to another video. Wish there was a better way to say this but there will always be the 10% fixated on complaining. Like Jews with Moses and Disciples complaining about the waves during the storm. You’d be surprised how much noise is in fact in the world but if you get fixated on the noise, you’ll never hear God speak.

@@carlosdavadi8276 with all due respect to you and humility from me in this reply, I disagree. I see your comparison as apples and oranges. There is truth in your statement about the “noise in the world” vs the Gospel. However, that’s why we seek a true Biblical church where the unvarnished Gospel & only the Gospel is heard within and away from the world. For those of us seeking such but having none available in our areas, all this “added music and sounds” from GfBC recently is unnecessary and detracts from the message. What can MAN add to any Gospel worth any value? Absolutely, positively NOTHING. I find it of no surprise we saw none of this going on while Voddie was still at GfBC. I suspect some young youth or music minister has taken over the Media Dept. His/Her time would be better spent in the Word instead of trying to add to it in any way.

Noah's son's wives... do we think they cried in the arms of their spouses knowing their whole extended family was slated for death by drowning? Did they pray with their new family for comfort for the adversity in their hearts? Were they angry with their new family? Were they trembling in gratefulness mixed with terror? These women were cyphers in that we know nearly nothing about them: where they were from, their beliefs, their familial background, etc. The only thing we know and can extrapolate is that nephilim were born after the flood and by extraction at least one of the wives may very well been descended from mixed blood. This sermon actually had me thinking about what must've been going on in the hearts of those on the ark. God shut the door so I think it may have been hard on the hearts of those on the ark to close the door in finality so God did it. I can also think as a strong father and family patriarch that Noah gathered his small family to pray as the flood began. It would be in character. This is a man that heard God and talked with Him. But the reality is such things can only be guessed at.

Imagine the worst city in the world right now and multiply the evil and violence by 1000! The unimaginable killing and rape and theft and so on had become so disgustingly prevalent, God the Creator, had to step in and start again! The Nephilim were also creating unbelievable living conditions for those that lived near them. God got rid of that because SIN had completely taken over. Noah, answered that call.

2 Peter chapter 2 and 3, man… The Bible already knew that people would assume uniformitarianism and deny the Deluge (the worldwide flood, so tall that it covered the mountains by a margin of 15 cubits). The water came from both above and below. Springs of water broke from below. And, right now there is an ocean’s worth of water under the ocean; the waters receeded down there. Even now there is SO much water. It couldn’t have gotten here on little asteroids. The idea that earth was a molten ball of metal without water and suddenly has such overwhelming amounts of it… speaks for itself in terms of its unreality.
