Amen! Praise be to God and Lord Jesus Christ! So on point and exactly what the Bible says about God's people being all those in Christ. Geopolitical nation of Israel who reject Jesus's Christ are not God's chosen people, Christians are: Jewish Christians and Gentile Christians alike. Jesus Christ broke the Jew/Gentile divide (Eph. 2:11-22) (Gal.3:28-29) and grafted the Gentile branches into the tree with Jewish roots making us fellow heirs (Rom.11:17-21) therefore there's only one Bride of Christ. Praise God for true men of God like Voddie Baucham, RC Sproul, Sam Storms, Kim Riddlebarger and thank you GfBC for the upload.

Symbolic? Yet there are real tribulations? Can you parse out what we're supposed to take literally and not, please? Are we supposed to look for little dots in the text that make it plain what's a symbol and a literal thing? Is there a secret Fruit Loops decoder ring somewhere? That mentality to Scripture leads to a very slippery slope. Let the whole book answer for itself, and when you connect the dots between Old and New Testament (the WHOLE Gospel) you can clearly see that there is a remnant preserved to finish out the promises of that covenant made with Abraham. God didn't abandon the Jews, he set them aside as a wayfaring child, grafting in the Gentile branch until in the fullness of time they will in jealousy (Rom 11:11) finally be restored -- not all of them ie, every last single person who claims to be a Jew, but those He has chosen. This is a revealing of things, not symbols!!!! "The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw." (Rev 1:1-2) "things which must shortly come to pass" is NOT symbolic, they WILL come to pass. John bare record "of all things that he SAW", not symbols, not metaphors he wrote to try and make it make sense later, THESE ARE THE THINGS HE SAW. Just because you don't understand WHY those tribes are listed as they are, does not make it an "irregularity" -- it means you don't understand it, and that's ok, but it's not really ok to apply your label of "literal" or "symbolic" willy nilly as you see fit. That seems exceptionally problematic. Ezekiel demonstrates, Joel demonstrates, plenty of other places demonstrate that there is a finite, a "very small remnant" of JEWS, ethnic ISRAELITES (perhaps only truly ethnic Israelites of that land, that isn't clear I don't think) that will return to their God, and be reconciled to Him over the course of the Millenial reign of Christ their King, Christ whom they will DECLARE as their King openly, as they make sacrifices of reconciliation to Him during that reign. It seems that there is some elevation here of Gentiles that is not warranted in scripture. You label Gentilism as "the church" it seems, which seems incorrect. The Church is all of God's people, starting with Adam, through saved Israel (this is NOT all Jews - they were His chosen people as a nation, but His elect were drawn from within them) and the Gentile branch. The Gentile branch is GRAFTED IN, not its own tree, its own thing, and should not be elevated to a more important status. The 144,000 are 144,000 literal people. Just like there are literally four and twenty elders, and there IS LITERALLY one Lamb which is worthy to open the seals, and there are LITERALLY seven seals. We cannot play fast and loose with these numbers here are literal, these numbers over there are figurative, these are symbolic to mean something the words don't say, etc., just to try and make the mysteries make sense. Don't think great thoughts, start and end with the words. I believe you err on your notion of what Romans 11 is saying to come to your conclusion that this is somehow a theoretical symbol that no one but you understands. Romans 11 points (as it is written) right to Isaiah 59:20 "And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD" -- "them that turn from transgression in Jacob" is the key -- not all Jews are being spoken of in the absolute whole, but in the relative sense. No Esau will ever turn from iniquity, only Jacobs will. ALL of them will be saved. Just as we see in 2 Peter 3:9 "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" does NOT mean all individuals of mankind will be saved, it means His patience will last until the very last sheep of His has been called into the fold, and then no more, so that ALL of HIS sheep will be saved.

You misconstrued what he said so badly on so many levels that I feel comfortable not refuting all of it, since this comment wasn't made in good faith to begin with. But about the 144,000, it's obviously not a literal number. The Bible talks about the 144,000 being 12,000 from each of the tribes, but also says they are from every nation. There is no way to reconcile these two things if they are literal numbers. It is all Christians, all of those who follow Christ, Jew and gentile alike.

You're one of those that says the world couldn't have been created in 6 days, too I guess, or that Moses wasn't on the mount for 40 days? These are the revelations of Jesus Christ. It is the sign of a weak faith that you look at a thing like this and say "I can't explain it" so you manipulate it to mean some weak thing. There is nothing shortening the arm of the Lord to go and pluck PRECISELY 144,000 of Jacob's seed from PRECISELY those 12 tribes listed and NOT A SINGLE Gentile in that mix. He isn't dependent on you to keep those genealogies and family records to find those PRECISE 144,000 people. Not 139,999, not 144,001, not ANY OTHER NUMBER. But my question still stands -- what tells us what is symbolic and what isn't, if this is all symbolism? What's the secret decoding strategy?

Nobody “taught” flat earth. They were going by what scripture says is the “firmament”. The Jews drew pretty pictures and maps from that verse in Genesis and cumulative gatherings of texts such as the Book of Enoch.

The word "firmament" simply means "expanse", typically referring to the expanse that forms the heavens and the sky. Saying that the "firmament" has anything to do with a flat earth would be desperately reading into the text

We are in the tribulation now, and have been for 2,000 years. If you doubt that, you haven't been paying attention to how Christians have been treated. Are you going to tell people being killed and severely tortured for their faith, "Hey, it's going to get really bad for seven years sometime later, but after that, we're square!" It's already really bad.

you're sealed once you confess. the mark of the beast proves who you are by not allowing believers to buy sell work or trade and casues your deaths so that you avoid wrath as the two witnesses torture the world and true believers exit out then return for the 1k year reign after Yushas' second coming{1st resurrection}. and there's no such thingas a "pre-trib" rapture. so get used to it.

@@gfbc1689That's the problem. I am not listening because the noise made by the kids is too distracting. Very young children who do not know how to keep quiet do not belong in the sanctuary. That is what the nursery is for. And I am not the first to comment or like a comment like mine. I'd rethink this if I were you. You are doing a disservice to those in the church and those trying to listen online.
