They're actually the reason why synchronization has become so important in the 3rd gen and 4th gen groups in kpop, when GFriend became known as the queens of synchronization. ❤ They're also the trendsetter for knife-like choreos for girlgroups in kpop, GFriend was the very first kpop girl group that has choreographies almost as difficult and as sharp as those of boy groups. ❤

rewatching all your gfriend reactions makes me realize how gfriend was really THAT group. didn't need to get their influence from current popular western music, didn't really have rapping. just them and their synchronized dancing and church girl music against the world. and when the world needed them most, they vanished. 💔

They made a lot of “sun” formations in Sunrise, and the “moon” formation which was exactly the same as their logo in TFTMN era

For Time for the Moon Night 18:24, the imagery they were creating in the beginning as well as the end was a crescent moon since their dance relied heavily on the lyrical elements. The same can be noticed in Sunrise, they end and start with the sun. In their live stages, the camera work panned over them so you can see the details a lot more clearly than just watching it leveled.

You should react to GFriend's 2x dances on Weekly Idol. They were famous for their 2x dances and made popularized the 2x dance segment on Weekly Idol.

It's amazing because even if a member goes at the back during the choreographies and are even hidden, they still give it their best which makes them also shine along with the others. Idk but i think this just shows their unity. That the girls are not hungry for spotlight and not wanting to outshine the other which is amazing. On that note, ive seen somewhere mentioned Yuju even surpressed her singing to match the girl group vibe. Thank god, she also got many solo projects during that time ❤❤

I know it has nothing to do with the video but i wanted to request you to react to Weki Meki, it's a group of 6 years that end its contract this 2024, but haven't come up with music since 2021 since not many people know them, but is a REALLY good group, PLEASE if you can react to some of their songs like Picky Picky, Tiki Taka 99%, Crush, Siesta, Oopsy, Dazzle dazzle or I don't like your girlfriend (debut) it would be wonderful, not many people do videos about them and I think you would like them

So nice to see you back with another Gfriend dance practice reaction video. As you noted during the viewing of "Sunrise", the girls are just "mesmerizing" to watch. I have also mentioned frequently that Gfriend's dance choreography is highly lyrical in the sense that their dance is also an instrument in interpreting the song as the lyrics. The commentor 123pluto34O already explained that the formation you questioned in "Time For The Moon Night" is the shape of a crescent moon. As in Sunrise, the bookend formations in their choreo is in the look of a sun in the aerial view. Want to add that these two choreos, together with that of "Crossroads" with a star formation at the start (you already reacted to), complete the so-called "Celestial Trilogy" for Gfriend's choreo as a fun fact. They are awesome to watch and thank you for another Gfriend reaction video.

When you mentioned if they have any behind the scenes footage of their choreography, I immediately think of one video in particular that many people are unaware of. They did a huge amount of work before their first ever concert learning brand new choreography for nearly every B side in their discography, that they would then be performing live for the first time at the concert. One of the most difficult of these new dances was for Flower Garden and is possibly the most interesting of all the choreographies that they have done. The company released a video showing them learning the new dance and we see the funny chaos that ensues. The video finishes with the final version being performed live at one of the concerts. I wish there was a finished dance practice video for it though as the choreography is amazing. It didn’t have subtitles until Umji’s edited it herself to add them, as she thought that it was really important for international fans to be able to enjoy them, seeing as they would be travelling around Asia and performing outside Korea most of the time. They were so caring for their international fan base, they even learnt to sing the end of Time for the Moon Night in many different languages appropriate to each country they were in. No wonder Buddy loves them so much. 😊❤
