Despite being inactive for 4 years, Gfriend is still in the top 4 female groups with the most music show wins (71 wins). Gfriend comes from a small unknown company but they were able to compete with other girl groups from big companies and also be able to enter the top 5 of the 3rd gen girl groups known as TREBLMAYEO (twice, red velvet, blackpink, mamamoo, yeojachingu/gfriend)

About the Season thing, i believe the new song is intended to make the fans feel nostalgic and reminisce their memories together. Their first album was called "Season of Glass" and their first concert was called "Season of Gfriend". Now that they're coming back, they're calling it "Season of Memories", we also see them incorporating past choreographies into the new song and even scenes in the mv, staying true to their memory lane theme. Also, the producer of the song rewatched all their past concert clips and noticed a fan holding a banner that says "We will be together forever in our affectionate season." he felt moved by it and so he made that the title of the song. The korean title of the new song literally translates to "In our Affectionate Season"

Gfriend's Korean name is 'Yeoja-chingu' which literally means Girl friend, so yeah.. their fandom name is called 'Buddy' The members' names from left to right in this video: Yuju - Eunha - Umji - Yerin - SinB - Sowon

Sowon: leader, visual Yerin: lead dancer, sub vocal and center Eunha: lead vocal Yuju: main vocal Sinb: main dancer and subvocal Umji: maknae, subvocal Eunha, sinb and umji were reunate as a group called viviz after gfriend disbandment Yuju and yerin became a soloist and they did great

Thanks for reacting to the GFriend Killing Voice video. It is a great introduction to their music. I am so happy that you found the magic of GFriend already. They are my daily happy pill as I cannot stop smiling whenever I watch them, no matter what they are doing. I see you are feeling it to. You are going to have so much fun as they have a huge discography, the best in Kpop according to Korea. They are legends of dance too. I strongly recommend that you watch the dance practice at the same time as each music video when you react to their songs, as they perform so smoothly like ballet just floating across the floor in perfect harmony and synchronisation. You only see that in snippets in the music videos. But I look forward to seeing your reaction to their guide which I recommended last time. A Guide to GFriend 2020 is probably the best one of all but a Subpar Guide to GFriend is also really good. The others are mainly intended to be funny and not helpful to new fans. But first of all Season of Memories has its music video released on Monday in just two days time.
