23:37 on Queendom 2 Viviz sang a mashup of Rough and Time for the moon night. That’s where you heard it from 😊

GFriend's music is sooo good and Mago is absolutely my favorite k-pop song of all time, it's so peak! Definitely check out their content because they're basically the male version of Seventeen, being known as the most synchronized female k-pop group of all time!

GFRIEND is more than nostalgia. They were the soundtrack of important events in so many peoples lives. And so GRFRIEND is not just a group we stan, but more a part of who we are.

This was the first time OT6 appeared and sang their songs in almost 4 years. Thanks for the reaction! Highly recommend to check out the full song/mv of 'Rough' and 'Time for the moon night' ;)

Sounding like a memory.. Idk why but this is the perfect way of describing their songs

25:08 seasons, nature and the passage of time in general are a recurring motif in their lyrics and music

9:53 you mentioned 'Red Sun!' which is made by the same composer who did Crossroads :D Noh Juhwan is one of Gfriend's best producers, his works are Crossroads, Red Sun!, Time for the moon night, Sunrise, and quite a lof of Gfriend's b-sides. I really love his orchestral pop/passionate melancholy songs

A couple things. I believe Yerin is the smiley one with the rose-colored hair? Also, yes, i agree that Fingertip sounds different than most of their songs. To me it sounds like a KARA song lol. Anyway, this is such a nostalgic Killing Voice for most everyone who listens to kpop. I love it! ❤

3:08 yuju's most recent project was being a mentor for boy group survival show 'SCOOL'. But yeah, she hasn't released anything new this year

Interesting how you zeroed in on the notion of seasons and memory when reviewing Gfriend's discography. No wonder their new album is titled "Seasons of Memories".
@pommeeeee2 күн бұрын
also i believe fingertip wasn’t really well received when it was released? bc it was released after navillera and was a hugely different concept from their previous songs (glass bead, me gustas tu, rough, and navillera). so maybe you haven’t heard much about it because of that , which is a shame because it’s my favorite song by them! they released love whisper after it which was very well received so tehy continued with that concept (flowery)
@pommeeeee2 күн бұрын
for summery gfriend songs, there’s sunny summer and fever!! neither were included here unfortunately :( same with love whisper and sunrise

Yerin’s “One Thing” (a collab with Dayeon from Kep1er) is a b-side of the year contender for me. If you liked Seulgi-Chungha-SinB-Soyeon’s “Wow Thing” you’ll like “One Thing”
