Hello RTK, yes, this is exciting news, I got into K-pop because of GFRIEND, and I am looking so forward to their reunion. I believe that the girls were awarded full ownership of the GFRIEND brand with all that it entails. I do not understand the whole Source Music connection unless the problem was more HYBE than Source Music But then again, the whole fiasco surrounding "GFRIEND's disbandment" is still being commented on even now. BPM seems to be doing well with BADVILLIAN so maybe letting VIVIZ pursue a GFRIEND reunion at this time is more financially feasible or it was in their contract to begin with...even so, this is great news! I do hope that you can see all the girls together and those of us who cannot, will watch your coverage.

Sowon has posted on Instagram today a picture of her running away from the camera in a Rough like outfit with the exclamation YAY written on the picture. So this is definitely real. I am so excited. I would give anything to be there for what I expect will be a farewell concert for Buddies, that GFriend were cruelly denied when they were sacked more than 3 years ago. SinB has specified that fact herself in interviews. Yerin doing her dance challenge with the entire group Of LeSserafim was a shock and then seeing her do theirs too just convinced me that something was afoot with Source Music and now just two weeks later here we have it.

I knew they want to buy the rest of buddies that has refused to interact with that group. And it was a smart move from Yerin, a lot of people follow that group but I do jot think it is the same kind of public Gfriend had.

I’d love to see a project, a memoria series, but I think it’ll be a one off fan event or mini concert. I’d love to be proved wrong, and of course attended but dates will have to be released soon to plan a more affordable trip than my last one.

I still cant process the info. I would need members validation for sure haha Now regarding fact that SouMu is managing it - I see it as members diplomacy and stratetic moves. We know how big/powerful the corporation is. And please I know it comes from good intentions (knowing which corporation is gonna manage it /earn money from it) but lets not boycott it. I think it is buddy ultimate move to prove how ending OT6 contracts was a great loss for the corporation. So lets do it for the girls. If no one supports it - I am not sure we will get any other Gfriend project after this one.

If I were to speculate, there's probably some money to be made from an unfinished album. They probably had enough material for another album. A bunch of tracks recorded for their next album that got shelved. Or maybe they'll record a new song for their upcoming greatest hits.

Yeah, let's get excited to have something from our girls in January, sadly for me since i live in Canada and since i'm kind of too poor to travel anyway unless it's something that can be seen on the internet i will not be able to go or see it. OK, i will stop my little rant here lol. More seriously i really am excited and curious to see in which way GFRIEND will comeback and i will be there to support them in any way that i can like always. All that being said, i do have a sad confession to make to all Buddies her, sadly GFRIEND is not my number one group anymore, it's not that i love them less it's just that i love my new number one who is Dreamcatcher just a little more. I guess it had to happen, from last year to change of ultimate bias from EUNHA to JIU and now from my number one be from GFRIEND to DREAMCATCHER. Maybe it's like some people say far from the eyes, far from the heart. Anyway, i'm still a proud Buddy, Na'V, Woorin, Luvu, Sowon Fan, i will be there to support and cheer for our ladies in January.

Best thing about this is that Source Music is on board. Meaning this is not like other ggs situation, where members state they're not technically disbanded and make vague promises to come back only to find out no company is interested to invest money into production of something it doesn't care or has no rights for.
