Obviously it’s Obi-Wan’s lightsaber. He held it longer than Anakin, Luke, and Rey, I think combined. A solid 18 years and he didn’t lose it or have it break once. Anakin, Luke, and Rey all lost it or let it break. (Anakin both, Luke lost it down a pit, and Rey let it break)

Sithslayer246 ikr! Episode 2 and 3 were 3 years apart. Anakin had it for three years. Episode 4 and 5 were 3 years apart, so Luke had it for three years. Rey has it for less than a year. All together that’s less than 10 years by quite a bit. Episode 3 and 4 were 19 years apart. Obi-Wan had the lightsaber for 19 years. And in that time he never broke it or lost it, he ended by giving it away.

The activation switch on the original prop was made from an old circuit board, so they were probably trying to mimic the feeling of the silicon base plate.

It was actually the display strip from an old calculator. I'm thinking at the time that Luke got it from Obi-Wan. Not sure what they used when it belonged to Anakin.

I guess what annoys me a bit about the Skywalker saber is that the activation switch in the movies is the red button, and this one is a different switch; that’s my only annoyance about it. Otherwise, it’s an awesome saber!

That's Luke's saber, he modifies it in Empire strikes back. The activation switch used to be a bubble switch for learners then Luke switched it back to the original. And also Anakin had a Covertoc wheel and clip but Obi Wan changed it to the D Ring.

It's weird, the Disney Store sold a slightly different version of this a year or two ago. It's got a DIFFERENT blade that I noticed after making mine in Savi's workshop. The blade in the Disney Store version is slightly longer and it flickers a tiny but when you move it. Also, the LEDs look A LOT more blended and smooth because it looks like the white paper inside the blade is slightly dimmer. The blade also does not work with Savi's hilt because the connection points are different. Very weird!

Just got this saber a couple of days ago. I am finding it hard to twist the blade in after insertion. I end up activating it without twisting it in. It feels tight enough not to slide out while swinging it around.

My only real issue is that it should include a blade plug withe the brass rod so it looks accurate to the prop when the blade is not ignited. Other than that, it’s a nice looking piece.

I really wanted Lukes green lightsaber but its hard to find an accurate looking one that lights up so I thought the legacy was it ti’ll I recently saw that you swap out the top part for a thicker part that can support the blade and I don’t like that so this was my second choice and I am definitely getting this one

Once you've done all of the legacy sabers, you should do a video comparing the boot up sounds of all the legacy sabers. It would be really interesting comparing legacy sabers that have the same color blade (e.g. Obi wan and Anakin)

The hum of the Legacy saber sounds a bit bassier, which is better in my opinion. Also, the blue Kyber Crystal boot up sound seems to cut off a second before it should because the Legacy saber appears to have extended sound, allowing it to properly fade out fully before the hum starts.
