This stunning video proves that even with extraordinary gear, it's the creative and passionate photographer who makes the magic happen.

I was disappointed to not be able to see Matt in Sydney on Saturday. It looked like I had been forced to miss a good experience. This setup in Matt’s hands is a good testimony of the product.

The GF500mm looks like a very nice Lens, compact and light weight with very good IQ, but all your other GF Lenses is big and heavy and not all with good IQ !

Lately I have been wondering about older lenses for MF cameras likethe GFX & Hassy but actually for landscape also. This great to see.

Very cool. I wasn't going to buy the new camera body, as I already have a XT and GFX system, but dang this looks cool.

With this lens, Fujifilm can see where my money is. It's a pity that the helicopter is not included as a bonus.
@mattkruminsphotography7 ай бұрын
Hehe it’s a very capable combination but yes, helicopters also make everything better! Haha

Just a quick question, is it compatible with GF1.4X TC WR ? and if yes do we have sample comparison images?
@thomastuorto99297 ай бұрын
I would think so. As long as there is or not much image degradation. Cause it will be magnified by 102mp. Probably no problem with today’s optics.

It’s captiable.

Yup, I shot quite a few of the images with the 1.4 TC (goes to f/8) but has great sharpness still

this is amazing news and make me hope for a future change of my gear to medium format. But as a bird photographer still need to see something longer than that 500 (400 in real life). Birds are not like the most of the wildlife. They're always "too far" (unless you are baiting, and it open to ethical discussions). And I would love to see a video of how the bird AF of this superb camera behave with a subject that, because that far distance, will be probably 10% of the frame. Still, this gear looks incredibly good

Check out the video with Shelly, she’s a birder and she did a field test in Tasmania. I can say that for birds I used the 1.4x teleconverter and sometimes even the 35mm crop mode, makes it a decent tele lens. For the NT you can get pretty close around Fog Dam and Shady camp so did a great job :-)

When you say more then full frame do you mean, that 90% of the wow factor of this documentary/review is the video cameras used? And not in fact the tiny percentage of photos used from the actual GFX?

Blurring the cap brand logo is so distracting. They are not competing with you on camera, why just let it go naturally?
