This was fantastic, not just seeing the final image created from the dedication and attention to detail by Nicky, but the overall production of this 15 min video made it very insightful and engaging to see the behind the scenes of a commercial/fine art photographer.

Fuji, I promise you. If you bring back the 50s sensor (do not change it or add BSI) in a supercharged GFX50sIII body with fast readouts and fps. You will sell so so many. Please make this

Why did you only have two weeks if this was your idea?

Great stuff! But "shooting everything in camera" definitely means something different to me.

In the end it's just kitsch not art
@gregorylagrange18 күн бұрын
It's art. I d say you'd have a point of contention with him saying "all done in camera...", but it's art. It's pretentious to say that it's not art.

"We've been working on X-T5, X-S20 and other models as well, to release the firmware within this year for improved user experience. We will communicate the details as soon as we have more information." Could you please specify which year you mean? 2025? 2026? 2027? 2024 ist over soon and still no communication about any autofocus update on the X-T5. This is so frustrating! Does Fuji really don't care about his long-term customers? Well then, keep selling these party-Instax-gimmicks to influencers. I, as an ambitious photographer, will now change to an other, reliable ecosystem.

I like how the guy did hardly any of the work himself then took most of the credit for having the idea.

Why go through the lengths of it all when you can just use stock or AI lol. If you’re gonna use the latest in camera tech, might as well present something innovative in storytelling or at least in compositing images as well. Nothing new here, any good photographer can do this if given that chance and fancy camera.
@anonconcom499618 күн бұрын
You could have asked AI to create the same photo... anything composited is so 2005. I don't see the value in this any longer with modern technology. Fake images is just fake images. Sorry.
@lucywright120817 күн бұрын
Or you could let humans rule the world and not AI.
@smallmouth12113 күн бұрын
AI couldnt come up with the idea unless lead to it , thats the main difference. Yeah you can ask AI to do something but the original spark of imagination has to be from a human. Thats the main difference
@pnwtim50313 күн бұрын
Composite photography is a blend of photography and art created by a human. All aspects of the image are photographed and created using real objects. Do you also think double exposures are pointless because they aren’t a single exposure? They aren’t fake images, they are real images blended together to create an artistic vision. AI images are fake images, plain and simple. Zero comparison.
