@@demoghost1998wish you mentioned something about throws. I keep getting tick throwed by Gio's. But i dont know how to do it. Maybe also a counterplay guide?

@@arslanh5883 Yea, I cut alot of stuff I wanted to talk about to save some time, but maybe I'll make a more thorough guide in the future. This is just a basic guide afterall. As far as tick throws, try hitting block then throw and you might be able to tech the throw. 5Ks are Gios threatening button when it comers to throw since they can dash cancel or microwalk forward to threaten the throw.

What would people recommend for when people jump away from you? Giovanna is a beast on the ground but I find players usually jump to avoid my attacks.

I just try to chase them with either JD or JHS, if they're in the corner and jump on wake up I usually do an air throw to discourage that kind of behavior.

Having trouble with the 236K into FS link. any tips?

You can only get FS after 236K only on counter hit. Just mashing the S button on hit should link it together. You can also get FS off of a wall bound from 236K but the timing is a little tighter which is why i just do 5K on wall bounces to make it more consistent

CS stands for "close slash." For your standing slash attacks, each character has a close hitting slash attack and a far hitting slash attack

can people start using normal words to say combos. whats 2s, or 5ks and all that stuff.

its just an easier way to annotate, especially for a combo video like this. If you look at a numpad on a computer, the numbers stand for directions with 5 being the neutral state. So 6 is right, 4 is left, 8 is up and 2 is down. The other numbers are the diagonals inbetween. Its just easier in this videos to put 236K instead of quarter-circle forward K. Hope that helps!
