Canelo made Triple G look like a sloppy fighter. Canelo just fought a smart fight period. All this talk of he was running is an excuse. Canelo laid on the ropes a couple of times making himself an easy target and still Triple G could not faze Canelo. Canelo even taunted him like come on im right hereeee hit me yet, GGG was not able to connect effectively. GGG was not clever enough to figure out a way to get to Canelo and it cost him. Canelo fought Swift and was precise on how to neutralize a one dimensional brawling technique by sticking when he had to stick , moving when he had to move and taking advantage when the opportunity's presented itself. I said Canelo gave the best imitation of Mayweather yesterday a couple hours after the fight on another video that I commented on. I also said at that time, exactly what Abel Sanchez said also, which was Canelo talked tough, said he wasn't scared of no one, and alluded to Mexican style fighting. Everything he didn't do. That said, Canelo showed to me that he had better boxing skills great head movement, combos, counters, etc. GGG was one dimensional, jab jab right hand. Rarely went to the body, no variation in his combos, no adjustments. However, GGG had a way better jab, which combined with his power when he did land, allowed him to control the fight (ring generalship) wear Canelo down while making him unwilling to exchange except in brief spurts. .
